Welcome to Undaunted, the third and final book in the "Unfettered" series.
If you haven't yet read Book 1 (Unfettered) and Book 2 (Unbroken), I highly recommend you start with them. Otherwise, it may prove difficult to follow along plot-wise.
Some important things to know about this book BEFORE YOU READ:
1. There is frequent explicit sexual content. This includes bondage, light BDSM (knife play, d/s, etc.), and other graphic sexual depictions. If you aren't comfortable with this, or if you are under 18 years of age, please do not read this story.
All chapters with explicit sexual content are designated with asterisks to enable easy skipping.
2. There are spoilers for the MCU, primarily through the first Avengers movie. Please don't read if you don't want spoilers.
3. This series takes place in the years after Loki's attack on New York City. As I mentioned, reading book 1 and 2 will help you to understand the timeline. As such, I have clearly altered the Marvel timeline, and am taking my own liberties with the plot. However I do try to stick as close to canon facts and Norse mythology where possible.
4. Obviously, I don't own anything here besides the plot and my original characters (the MC, Herkja, Thyra, and a smattering of others along the way).
5. Average word count per chapter is 2,469 words. Total word count for this piece is 234,575, excluding the author's notes. That means you're embarking on a journey about the size of Game of Thrones. So grab a snack. Stay hydrated. And buckle in, my Valkyries.
6. To create a seamless reading experience, I won't be leaving notes in the chapters (beginning or end). But I'd love for you to! Please leave your commentary, thoughts, and votes to help me understand where I'm doing things well, and where I can improve.
7. There are (very few) graphic violence/torture scenes. This includes vivid descriptions of cutting, blood, broken bones and other wounds. If this content makes you uncomfortable, please avoid this story.
