The Beasts of the West
"Torturing people is the only way I can cope with my fate..."

"We need water guys, you cant just let us die!" Bimala and Willam cried out together. "well actually, I'm pretty sure we can" Den said. "Yeah, I mean you did try to murder us." Jaguar added The four of them have been trudging through the desert for seven days, Befriending mummies, fending off sand worms, and answering the questions of Sphinxes. However as the pushed forward the enemies grew larger, and more powerful. Giant Beetles would erupt out of the ground
Enormous Scorpions would attack the group, and the sand snakes were almost impossible to take down. Den Didn't need water to survive, and Jaguar was able to drink and properly process salt water, like a fish can due to the mermaids kiss. Den and Jaguar had no clue why or how Bimala or William were still alive, but they pressed on, with the will to live.
Suddenly there was a slow rumbling in the sand. Somethings in the sand! Den called out to everyone. Bimala and Willam ran clear of the rumbling, wondering what would emerge from the dunes this time. Den didn't worry about them getting away, he knew that they knew theat there was no chance to survive without their swords, and bodyguards/kidnappers. A giant amount of sand, shaped like a human emerged from the ground.
"Swordsman's handbook: The Worlds Creatures: Volume IV: Section: Desert: Chapter: two hundred and thirty nine: Sand elemental- Sand elementals are the manifestation of the despair and hopelessness of those who have died in sandstorms, or have died in any other sand related ways. Mortal Weakness: Extreme heat." Bimala said, remembering this creature from her Swordsman's training.
The Sand Elemental reached towards Den, who slashed at its Hand, cutting it in half The elemental pulled back, cradling its hand tenderly. He placed it back into the sand, then pulled it out, and when he did, it was back to normal. "As long as a sand elemental is surrounded by sand, it can regenerate itself." Bimala yelled to Den and Jaguar. Jaguar used lynx legs to jump onto the elemental. He landed near the elementals stomach, and used Tiger claws to start climbing upwards.
Den used his sword and the sword he took from Bimala, Infusing them with his strong aura, and charging towards the elemental. Den slashed at The Elementals feet. He had realized that he was unable to use the same Swordsman's magic that Willam and Bimala used much earlier. "Just because you have our swords doesn't mean that you can use our magic! A sword is bonded to it's master. Without someone to wield it, a sword is just a sword, a swordsman without a sword is just a man. Our magic is linked to our swords, until we die, or the sword breaks. Without our swords we are unable to use our magic, thats the price of learning the way of the swordsman." Den remembered Bimala say.
Den was no swordsman, but that didn't mean that he couldn't fight with a magic of his own! Jaguar had mad it up to the elementals face, dodging its efforts to swat him away. He cut at the elementals eyes, distracting it even more. Jaguar then leaped off of the elementals face landing on his feet, naturally. Den slashed his aura inffused swords at the elementals feet, causing it to fall down. However, It slowly reformed itself, and got right Back up "Seriously???" Jaguar complained.
