A Doctor's Conviction//Chapter 27

"If he's a quack doctor, he sounds like a good man to meet." Faythe muttered.

Nami whipped her head towards her feathered friend, "Are you for real? He's crazy if this woman called him a quack Doctor!"

"All the best people are crazy.. I mean, have you met Luffy?" Faythe laughed out.

"Oh ya.. your right..." Nami sighed in defeat.

The door slammed open, and came in a rushed reindeer, on all fours.

"IT'S AN EMERGENCY!" He shouted out of breathe, "WAPOL IS BACK!"

Faythe glanced to the Doctress to see her smile falter a bit.

"Is that so.." She sighed.

"What are you going to do?" Faythe asked.

"What do you think? I'm going to go protect a friend's grave." The doctress grinned, flipping one of her glasses down.

"Aight I'll stay here then." Faythe sat down on the bed.

"Faythe..!" Nami shouted in disbelief like she saw something out of this world.

"WHAT!? Look at my arms! What am I supposed to do!? Smack them with my cast!?" Faythe rolled her arms while Nami softly punched her arm, slightly annoyed by the girl's attitude.

While they were talking, Chopper and the Doctress excused themselves and went to see what the man wanted.

"This Wapol guy... Who is he?" Nami asked curiously.

"Oh Wapol? That guy is piece of shit. Basically he started to eat our ship when we were looking for a doctor and Luffy shot him into a star." Faythe summed up.

"Oh... I feel like theirs more to this than... that." Nami raised a brow.

"Hmmmmm.. Well he is a fat-ass. Got some real bushy eye brows, and has a metal mouth." Faythe thought for a second but he just came out blurry.

"Anyways don't worry 'bout him." Faythe waved off, smiling.

"Okay..." Nami hummed.

"You, my friend, need some rest, and don't give me that stubborn bullshit." Faythe shoved the sick girl into the bed, quickly tucking her in.

"Fine, mom!" Nami teased tiredly.

"Goodnight sweetheart!" Faythe sing songed playfully, hearing Nami giggle at the words.

Faythe walked out of the room and closed the door, stalking towards a window that gives her a view of the front.

Outside she saw Wapol yelling out some things, and judging by his face, it's probably him spouting out shit. Beside him she saw his subordinates bowing to him on their knees like they were his knights.

She watched as the Doctress and Chopper make it out of the gate and chat about something, then she saw Luffy come running out, stretching is arm back.

He leaped towards Wapol with his fist connecting to his nose, Wapol shooting across the field and almost falling off the mountain. Unfortunately, his servants grabbed him by his little ankle making him only dangle over the edge. She could see the blood dripple down his nose from the impact. Luffy was now grinning satisfied with something, his grin creating sparkles around him in glee. She assumed he had a grudge on him or was provoked by him.

The fat man's servants turned around and started yelling things, full of nonsense. They only received Luffy stretching out his mouth and giving them a stick of his tongue. She doubled over laughing, her arms resting on the window for support.
