"The day we arrived at Jaya! May 21, 1122."

"NOLAND!"

"NOLAND!"

Cricket leaned to the side with his hand cupping an ear, "Upon arriving at the island, we were immediately greeted with a cry most unusual bird from the forest," His cheeks flushed from all the rum he's had, "And a loud bell-ring. The sound from this enormous golden bell," As he spoke the crew was grinning from ear-to-ear. Zoro held a bottle, a smile present as Chopper gazed on in a daze.

"Reverberated throughout the entire island," Luffy was grabbing multiple fishes on a stick and chugging down mugs of juice.

"As if proudly proclaiming, the former glory of its ancient city." Shojo and Mashira were just whipped up, their eyes the shapes of hearts. They were already a lost cause, even if they heard this story thousands of times, "When reminded of the civilizations that have risen and fallen throughout the ages across this vast sea, we, who barely live a few decades at most and yet act as if we know all there is to this world, were too awestruck to utter even a single word."

With that the monkey brothers and Cricket shot up with their fists to the sky, grins on their faces as they shouted out roars of excitement, "And so we simply stood there, silently listening to the bell ringing..."

"WHAT A POET, THAT NOLAND!"

Nami lurched forward with a gleam to her eyes, "Amazing, a giant bell made from gold!"

Everyone raised their drinks in the air to celebrate the man named Noland.

Faythe was on her back, laying on the ground while chewing on a kabob, the pineapple tasting extra fine this evening. Usopp was sitting next to her, crisscrossed, "Ha, so you like Noland after all, don'cha, mister!?"

With that Cricket pulled out a couple of golden bells the size of his entire hand, "Take a look at this!"

Nami lurched forward, knocking Chopper out of the way in the process as she took hold of one of them and started rubbing it against her cheek in a crazed manner.

Usopp looked at the golden bells while rubbing his chin in thought, "Umm.. What's so enormous about this?"

Cricket let out a chuckle, his free hand fiddling with a golden bell, by his foot, "Haha, this isn't the actual golden bell. This is just a gold ingot in the shape of a bell. I found 3 of these at the bottom of the ocean here!"

Faythe leaned onto Cricket's shoulder, her arms draped lazily around his neck, "So how big we talkin'. Like three times the size of you or maybe ten times?" Her eyes brightened at the thought.

Luffy had his hands tucked under his sandals, "Oh, so the city of gold does exist!"

Green orangutan shook his head with a shrug, "Well, there's no solid proof of that. It's not too hard to find this much gold in any old ruin."

Chopper waddled up to one of the golden bells laying around with a happy smile adorning his naïve little face, "What's an ingot? What is this?"

Robin turned to the group with a soft spoken smile, "Still, this is enough proof that a civilization existed here in these parts." She then turns to Chopper, "An ingot is a weight to weigh out precious metals. You can use it to trade and sell goods."

Cricket let out a chuckle, "That's right. And the bird that Noland talked about in his log is..." He trailed off thinking it was better to show them instead of tell, which is why he gave the red monkey man a thumbs up, "Show' em, Masira."

Masira nodded and lugged out a giant object draped in a cloth to protect it from dust, "Yep."

Everyone started scooting closer to see what he brought over.
