Running through the branches, the little red head was giggling her head off as her short hair collected leaves when she burst out the bush.

"FAE! Get back here! I need to get pay back for scaring me!" Another laugh had burst out as the boy had finished.

"You really think Faelyn of all people would just follow what anybody says! HA! WRONG!" A boy appeared right in front of her, His black hair and blue eyes gleaming with playfulness.

"Caught you..!" The boy grinned.

"AHH! CORBETT!" The girl screeched before making a full U-turn and running the opposite direction. She leaped over a large tree trunk and just dropped there to hide.

"Ohhhh Fae~ Where are you my sweet devil like sister!~" Corbett giggled to himself. He was looking behind trees and pushing bushes out of the way.

As the girl was holding back a giggle, unknowing to her the boy who she scared was creeping up behind her.

Sudden wrap of the boys hands around her waist made her shriek in surprise.

"Oh! Found her Zim!?" Corbett wheezed as he heard his little sister's familiar scream.

"Yep! I GOT MY REVENGE!" The boy grinned happily, hugging the little girl. His blonde fuzzy hair that covered his head seemed to contradict his darker toned skin. His red eyes gleaming in the bright sun light.

"Ziiiiimmmmrrriiii!!" The girl complained, dragging out the boy's name.

"What! You should've been expecting this if your gonna scare somebody!" Zimri laughed, Corbett the girl's brother snickered.

"You two are so mean sometimes..!" she pouted, her cheeks puffing out.

"Oh don't be like that, are you angry with us?" Corbett squatted down to his knees, patting her head, both his blue eyes were the same, no scar that stretched from his forehead all the way across his chest. His hair was a little short but was pulled back into a small ponytail.

The girl paused as the brother asked her. She relaxed into the head pats and she giggled for a bit.

"I can't be mad at you, Nii-san... After all, your my big brother..!" She smiled brightly.

The two boys glanced at each other and nodded to each other, almost having a mutual agreement in that one glance.

"Don't worry about anything that might be dangerous, your big brother and Zim will protect you..!" Corbett smiled back, giving her a hug as well.

"Really?"

"Really, really!"

"OKAY!" she giggled.

...

Sitting under a tree near the beach, the three friends sat in a circle with a book in the middle of them.

"So to look after this so called star, we have to travel through the seas and the ones who can do that are either pirates or marines." Zim explained thinking, his legs crisscrossed.

"Nii-san which one sounds more fun?" the girl looked up from the book.

"Of course the pirates!" Corbett grinned confidently.

"Why's that?" Zim tilted his head, crossing his arms as he looked back at the older friend.

"Well, Marines have to follow these strict rules and are always trying to get to higher ranks, but with pirates, they don't follow any rules. They literally go where they want and do what they want. And besides, being a marine will mean that we could get separated, I don't want that." Corbett said glancing at his little sister.
