They had always worried about Earl Grey's health. He worked so hard to keep everything in perfect order in the hotel.
And did most of the work himself, only leaving some duties to the short hotel staff.
So when the cookie asked for their help, it took them by complete surprise.
But they didn't refuse the offer, of course!
It meant to help Earl Grey, and also be able to spend more time with him.
A win-win situation in their eyes.
"Still, you have been helping me a lot… Is there a way I could pay you back?" He asked, smiling softly in their direction as they walked down the long hallway.
"You don't need to, really" they answered with a shy smile, faint blush on their cheeks.
"Nonsense, dear. Let me think of something suitable for you…"
Silence fell between the two cookies as he thought, and they couldn't help but feel a bit bad.
They truly enjoyed helping Earl Grey. There was no need for any kind of…
"How about a cooking date?"
"What"
The cookie stopped at the moment, the blush on their face intensifying as he smiled at them.
"You mentioned once you love my pastries, and wish to learn how to make them. I think it's a perfect way to pay you back"
They stood there in silence for a moment, analyzing his words.
And, finally, they gave him a small nod.
With a big smile on his face, Earl Grey continued his way down the hallway.
"Is a date then, dear"
