The small cookie had a big adventure spirit, always wandering away from her parents as soon as she could walk. She loved to explore every corner of the kingdom and it's surroundings, but there was one place her parents forbade her to go: the Dragon's Valley.
She always observed it from afar, wondering what could be there, how would it look like, if someone ever lived there. Her curiosity only grew and grew as years passed, until she couldn't keep it anymore. She started planning how to go behind her parents back. Just a quick peek, is all she wanted.

She saw the perfect opportunity the day her parents were away for business. "If something happens just go to the neighbors' house alright? We will be back before midnight" her mother had said that morning. The cookie nodded, and her father ruffed her hair for a moment.

"Be careful exploring alright? And remember, never go to the Dragon's Valley" he had said, and she smiled.

"Yes dad!" She simply said before her parents finally went away. She ran to her bedroom as the door closed and grabbed her trusted notebook, her perfect planning on it.

"I can't wait!" She thought as she started grabbing all she needed.

She found herself in the entrance of the Dragon's Valley just an hour later. She looked around with her eyes opened, fascinated by the sigh. The lava and fire were dangerous, and yet they somehow formed a beautiful sigh in her eyes, the different shades of red and orange combining everywhere she looked.
"Alright...just a quick peek and I'll be back before they even know" she thought as she step with decision inside the Valley. She saw something moving with the corner of her eyes after a good few minutes and she stopped. "...did I see someone?" She thought as she looked around, but there was only lava and fire everywhere she looked.

"Maybe I imagined it…" she thought, confused. But the sound of a rock and a small voice cursing quickly made her forgot that though.

"Who...who is there? Show yourself!" She said as she looked around, trying to look as brave as possible. There was silence for a few tense seconds and, finally, she saw movement from behind a rock. A small cookie her age was looking at her from behind the rock, fire as hair. The two of them looked at each other in silence, curiosity in their eyes.

"Hi...I'm...I'm (Y/N)" she finally said, her previous nervousness forgotten as she approached the cookie.

"I'm…I'm Fire Spirit" he said, still half hiding behind the rock.

"Nice to meet ya! Your hair looks cool! Is it made of actual fire?" She asked with a smile, curiosity on her eyes. He nodded with a smile, relaxing as he realized she wasn't a threat.

"That's so cool!" The cookie said, her eyes sparkling for a moment. Fire Spirit laughed at her expression, and finally decided to leave the apparently safety of the rock.

"What are you doing here? Are you exploring like me?" She asked, as she never thought she would see someone else there. To her surprise, he shocked his head.

"No, I live here" he said, making the other cookie gas in surprise. She took one of his hands with a bright smile, her eyes sparkling.

"You have to tell me everything about this place!"

They talked and talked for a long time, asking each other questions about how the other lived and related. Just like she never thought someone lived there, Fire Spirit never thought someone lived outside the Valley, as his parent didn't let him go outside the limits.

"Oh no… it's late. I need to go now before my parents come back" she said, looking at the small pocket watch she kept on her backpack.
"Oh...would we see each other again?" Fire Spirit asked, a sad look on his face. He had enjoyed her company a lot and really wanted to know her more.

"Maybe...I'd need to wait for my parents to be away, so they don't discover" she said with a sigh. Fire Spirit nodded in understanding, and offered her a hand with a smile.
"So...until next time then?" He said, and she shocked his hand with a smile.

"Until next time!" She said and, offering a last smile, made her way back to the entrance.

Neither of them knew when they would see each other again, but they couldn't wait for it.
