She happily walked inside the forest, a smile on her face as she heard the familiar sound of the horn nearby. It wasn’t strange for her to go to the forest every afternoon, one could even say it was even a part of her daily routine at that point.

She couldn’t help herself. Fig’s stories were always very interesting, and she really liked his company. It made her relax after a long day, and she always found herself smiling at him.

“Ah (Y/N)! Gl’d to see you” Fig said as she finally arrived at the forest’s clearing, a smile appearing on his face at the moment.

She smiled back as she sat down in her usual spot, some of the creatures that lived there going to her side at the moment and making themselves comfortable. She was glad they had got used to her presence.

“Wouldn’t miss it for anything” she said, earning a chuckle from Fig.

“I’m glad you like my tales so much. Now th’t you are here, we can finall’ start. This storie’ happened…”

She felt herself relaxing as Fig started talking, the tension finally leaving her body. It had been a particular long day for her if she was honest, and this is what she needed.

But as he continued talking she found herself closing her eyes slowly, his voice fading in the background.

She had falling asleep right there before she even realized.

Fig cookie smiled softly at the now asleep cookie. He had noticed how tired she looked as soon as she entered the clearing, and he was glad she was finally resting.

“Let’s stop for today, my fr’nds. We should l’t her sleep” he said softly to the forest creatures, who seemed to agree with him.

All of them got up and made their way out, leaving the two cookies alone.

Fig got up from his usual spot and made his way to her, only to lay down behind her. Her back rested against him, and she unconsciously leaned onto him with a smile on her face.

“Rest well,  (Y/N)”
