Captain Ice x female! Reader

Captain Ice had been very busy during the day and, as a result, a good amount of paperwork had accumulated in her desk. She couldn't leave it for the next day, as that would just mean more paperwork. So she started working on it as soon as night hit.

She heard Captain Ice sigh as she entered the quarters, a small frown on her face as she looked at the never ending paperwork. Thought that frown turned into a small smile as soon as she noticed her. The cookie smiled back as she walked to her desk, leaving the cup of tea on it before kissing her cheek gently.

"Thank you, dear" Ice muttered, the tension leaving her shoulders just for a moment. She smiled again, and she gazed at the paperwork. Just a few ones were left fortunately, and she was sure it would only take her 15 to 20 minutes.

"You don't need to wait for me, you know? You should go and rest" Ice said, pulling her out of her thoughts. She smiled at the tired cookie.

"I know. It's just cold without you" she said, hugging her from behind. Ice chuckled softly, making her heart skip a beat for a moment. She would never get tired of that laugh.

"Alright. Wait for me there my dear, I will be just in a few minutes" she said with a small smile as she returned to her paperwork.

She heard Captain Ice enter the room almost half an hour later. She sighed as she left her big coat on a chair, and wasted no time in join her on the big bed. The cookie sighed happily as Ice pulled her into her chest, her arms around her smaller body in a protective hold.

"Finally done?" She muttered as she relaxed in her hold.

"Yes, finally done" Ice hummed, nuzzling her head for a second with a small smile.

"I could have help you, you know? You also need to rest love" the cookie muttered, as she didn't want her to overwork herself.

"I know, but is my duty as the captain of this ship to do the paperwork, dear" Ice said as her eyes started closing slowly, the previous tension finally leaving her body. She sighed as she closed her eyes too.

"I know I just...worry about you. Don't overwork yourself, okay?" She muttered in a low voice, making Ice smile again.

"I promise my dear. Now let us rest, it has been a long day" she replied, pulling the cookie just a bit closer to her.

Both cookies fell asleep soon after in each other's arms. It didn't matter how difficult or long the day had been, those small moments were always there to bring them comfort.
