Carrying the cooked chicken in a bag, William quickly left with Evil Infant.

Coming back to the ark, William layed down the bag and looked at the cooked chicken which have now gone cold.

*Grab*

*Slap*

"I said don't eat it!"

William said as he slapped away Evil Infant's silent hand.

*Sob*

This time he decided to ignore her crying and turned his focus towards the dead chicken.

'This isn't right....'

He remembered that the chicken was given the ability to revive after getting his blood.

So why is the chicken dead?

Shouldn't it like come back to life?

While William was wondering this, a bright golden light suddenly covered the cooked chicken.

Then a miracle happened.

The cooked skin of the chicken started falling off as it's, wings reattached themselves.

At a visible pace the chicken was being revived.

*Cockoo*

The majestic sound of a chicken rang out in the primordial profound ark.

The scene would have looked quite domineering if only William couldn't see the chicken's power level....

[Cultivation->None, unable to cultivate due to dying once.]

His mind went in a daze, as William carefully looked at the chicken.

There was no longer any golden light surrounding its body, hell it seemed like even its original profound beasts status was also taken away.

William felt sad after seeing the chicken's current state.

"Don't worry...."

William grabbed the neck of the chicken and rubbed it's small head.

"Let me put you out if your misery...."

*Cockoo*(Wut?)

The grip around the chicken's neck slowly tightened.

*Cockoo*(Help me!)

The chicken's face turned purple but just as it was about to die from suffocation.

A pair of fare hands took the chicken away from William.

William was only holding the chicken half heartedly to begin with and knowing who the owner of the hands was, William decided to let go of the chicken.

But still he couldn't help but ask.

"Do you like it Evil Infant?"

William pointed at the chicken in Evil Infant's hands.

He doesn't mind not killing the chicken in case she likes it.

In any case it was only a chicken now...a very ordinary chicken...

But her answer was out of his expectations.

"..... Don't want...kind one....to kill...."

"What?"

William looked at Evil Infant with a weird look on his face.

"You saved the chicken because you don't want to see me kill it?"

William pointed at himself just to make sure, but seeing Evil Infant give a nod left him feeling speechless.

"Is there a particular reason for it?"
