Anniversaries Breath Love: XLI

Adleth took a deep breath as Sutur accepted the goods. The ugly oaf of a halfling looked pretty pleased with what he got. "Two hundred guard uniforms.. Sub tier armor and some disguises." Sutur took a long pause nodding his dumb halfling head happily.

"Is our business done then?" Adleth tried her best to stay quiet as Mogralm spoke. Sutur nodded, pulling out a load of coins and tossing them to her.

"Three hundred, pretty girl." Adleth shuttered at Sutur's words. This was the biggest payment yet. For this one shipment in total she was gonna make it out with nearly a thousand gold good times. She decided to ignore it. Morgalm's dark hand reached over to Adleth handing her another hundred gold, this why moving shit was always the best. To top it all off the damned pigs would get impersonated. Could this day get any better?

As the meeting adjourned Adleth walked briskly through alleyways, content on getting back to her little hole in the wall. God's the money was just pouring and she couldn't wait to see what Eilrora thought. Adleth side-stepped a nearby bin before bounding into her alley making her way to the small door.

"Hey.. Eil-'' Adleth opened the door but was grabbed by two soft elven hands almost instantly. Adleth faked an ounce of struggle as she was pulled into a kiss by Eilrora.

"Off being bad?" Eilrora gave her a sly smile like she already knew the answer. Adleth tossed the bags of coins off to the side as the two elves made their way to the kitchen.

"I've nearly gotten a thousand for this deal Eil, Nearly a thousand!" She laughed, it was unbelievable the movement of this one shipment was more than enough to set her up for years. It left the sweetest taste in her mouth, or maybe that was Eilrora?

"Gosh.. that's insane, what do you plan to do with the money hm?" Eilrora pulled a soup ladle from the ceiling making some kind of food for the two of them, Adleth took in the bright and happy scent rocking her head back.

"I was thinking of buying an orphanage."

"What?" Eilrora spun around lifting an eyebrow. Adleth broke out in a smile. "Yeah.. I thought so." the elf laughed seeing right through her bullshit. Adleth snaked up wrapping a hand around her lover's chest leaning close into her shoulder while the older one cooked. She rocked her body back and forth humming a small tune she remembered from the tavern nearby, one which had become rapidly stuck in her head. "Stop, you'll give me an earworm."

"Too late." Adleth whispered back laughing as she hummed along with the melody. After a few minutes of dancing to herself she pulled Eilrora roughly by the hand, exciting a squeal from the other woman.

"Oh you're in charge now hm?"

"Mhm." Adleth nodded, spinning the girl in the small room, she caught flashes of the wild grin on Eilrora's face, the one she loved so very much. She felt giddy and even a bit hot swaying in the house. "I'm Sentimental.. So I walk in the rain.. I've got some habits even I can't explain." Adleth began to sing filling the short roof with an echoing reverberation. Eilrora initially shook her head weakly pulling away with a large grin plastered on her face before she gave in.

"I go to the corner I end up in Cane.." Eilrora's beautiful voice filled the room with a slow and high pitched falsetto tone. Adleth nearly melted into her girlfriend's arms biting her lip to the tunes. "Why I try to change me now? I shouldn't day dream.. I got daydreams galore, cigarette ashes there they go on the floor. Go away weekends leave my keys in the door.. Why try to change me now.." She gripped tighter onto her lover pleading some strange and odd feeling in the back of her head which told her to hold on. The music made her heart race a bit faster but she cut the elf off by pulling her into a kiss. "You certainly are.. Happy.." Eilrora chuckled.
