DIVIKA'S POV:
"Divi!" Ved said softly...
"Hmmm haan?" I answered....
He offered the garlic bread to me, by placing it in front of my mouth.... I looked at him and then took the first bite....
"Thank you" I whispered....
"Maa it's so good!" Ved moaned taking a bite....
He then gave the next bite to me andI again whispered a 'thank you' to him...
"Tu har bite ke baad mujhe thank you bolegi?" he asked me...
Iska kya answer karoon? Mere paas iska answer hai bhi nahi!
"uhh.. woh..nahi" I stuttered...
"Divi, awkward mat ho yaar! Agar tu uncomfortable hai toh koyi aur tujhe khila dega.. Riya ko boloon?" He said...
I didn't want to send a wrong message! It's just he's feeding me for the first time and poori family dekh rahi hai...
I just subtly shifted towards him, and opened my mouth as if asking for a bite... I don't know if I look stupid or what! But I did notice a very tiny smile on Ved's face....
When Hummus was served, I got nervous! I really really hope he likes it!
He dipped the pita in hummus and had it...... Why did the look on his face change!
"Maa yeh kisne banayi hai?" He asked pointing to the hummus while giving me a bite... Why the fuck did he ask maa this question?
"Kyun achi nahi lagi?" She asked him...
"Nahi! Bahut yummy hai isliye toh pooch raha hoon!"
Thank god! He likes it! For the first time I made food for him of his choice! Of course he used to eat whatever I made but this time I made it specially for him!
"Guess kar!" Maa gave Ved a teasing smile, confusing everyone...
"Riya tune banayi hai?" he asked her...
"nahi!"
"Vihaan toh abhi waapis aaya hai..." He said....
Maa just shook her head at him...
Pehli baar mere haath ki hummus khaayi hai, probably isliye he couldn't guess!
"What is this Ved! Apni wife ke haath ke khaane ke liye tu pooch raha hai 'kisne banaya hai'!" She shook her at Ved....
I was looking at him all this while, but when he turned to look at me I got so fucking nervous! I started looking everywhere but at him!
Everyone was just sitting and talking to each other while occasionally eating nachos and salsa or hummus and pita...
I wanted to talk to Ved but merko awkward feel hota sab ke saamne! I never had this issue with any ex of mine! But Ved ke saath pata nahi aisa kyun hota hai!
"So Ved! How's business going?" Papa asked Ved......
"It's going great abhi toh... Aur kuch hurdles aati bhi hain toh Advi aur Saijal ki wajah se easily solve ho jaati hain!"
Papa nodded... I know it for a fact that papa likes Ved.. But now I want him to like Ved more!
"Thodhi der terrace par chalein kya?" Vihaan asked....
"Chalo!" Ved said....
"haan tum log chale jao! Yahaan baith kar waise bhi bore he hoge!" Maa said and we got up...
