What if darcy and charlie were raised by youssef and nathan

Youssef stretched as he woken next to his husband. The sun light shone on his face enlightening all of his freckles. The sight warmed Youssef heart and caused him to blush. His husband awoke with a smile on his face "good morning handsome" he said with a rough voice. The words made Youssef blush even harder, no matter how many times he heard them he will always react the same. As he leant over to kiss his husband he couldn't help but hear two little giggles come from the doorway. He turned to see the little brown haired girl and dark haired boy with a cheeky smile on their face. "Morning dada, morning baba" they say in sync as the stand in the doorway. "Good morning Darcy, good morning Charlie is there anything you'd like?" Nathan asked with a slight grin knowing Youssef was trying to hide his blushing face from the children. "We want waffles and pancakes like right now" Darcy says in a demanding tone just for Charlie to add "what were you and dada doing, why is he hiding?". Youssef couldn't help but think about how inquisitive they had become. As Nathan left the bed and picked the two up he noticed him whisper something to Darcy and Charlie but couldn't hear what. Being comfy Youssef decided to stay in bed knowing that Nathan will deal with breakfast.

As Nathan set the pair down he asked them to the ingredients for pancakes and waffles. While Darcy grabbed those he turned to see Charlie trying but failing to bring Gatsby his food. Nathan picks the bag up and brings closer to the bowl. "Thank you, baba" Charlie says cheerfully as he scoops the cat food into the bowl and then fills the water bowl setting down carefully. As Nathan sets the bag back in the cupboard, Charlie runs round the house looking for Gatsby to feed him. He turns his attention to Darcy who carefully placing all the ingredients onto the kitchen island. He grabs a bowl and placed it on her making her giggle "baba that's not where the bowl goes". He looks down at her and says "oh really I'm pretty sure  yesterday you told me it was" as she took off her head and placed it down on the island. As he started making the batter he asked darcy what she would like in her waffles and pancakes even though he already knew. The girl threw herself off her chair and grabbed the rainbow sprinkles before she could pour them in Nathan stopped her and told her go get Charlie to see if he wanted to join. After several minutes of waiting Youssef comes down with Charlie in his arms and Darcy following behind carrying Gatsby. Youssef sat Charlie on the island and helped Darcy onto the chair. One they had finished with sprinkles Nathan put the batter in the waffle maker and pan. As they waited, Nathan wrapped his arms around Youssef and kissed his neck gently while he made coffee for the two. Darcy had clearly seen this and decided the comment of "ewww" causing Charlie to do the same.  Youssef and Nathan turned with fake offended look on there face making the two laugh. As Nathan set the plates he could hear Youssef try to stop Darcy from stealing his coffee but failing. He smiled to himself while setting the plates in front of his husband.
