Palutena: We only have one more of Medusa's army to defeat before we fight her.

Palutena: The Underworld Army has taken over the Seafloor Palace, and they're being led by Tanatos!
Pit: TANATOS?! THE TANATOS?! Wait, who is Tanatos?
(Y/N): Seriously Pit? He's the God of Death!!
More Underworld Monsters keep showing up more and more.
Pit: This isn't going to end! How are we going to get to the palace?
And with those words, you both reach the ocean.
Palutena: Watch and be amazed boys. AND .... DUN DUN DUN!!!
The ocean begins to part ways.
Pit: You have outdone yourself Lady Palutena!
(Y/N): Now we can get to the Undersea Palace!
Just as you enter, you notice a voice.
A booming voice.
???: Now hold on just a minute!
(Y/N): Poseidon.
Palutena: Oh, Lord Poseidon!
Poseidon, the God of the Sea was the one that parted the ocean.
(Y/N): Why are you-
Poseidon: The Seafloor Palace has been taken over. I have no other choice. Considering that you have a deal with the Underworld Army, I will allow it this once.
Palutena: What can I say? A Goddess has to have her fun once in a while.
And with that, you guys head for the SeaFloor Palace.
???: Oh visitors! Great! It gets lonely here.
(Y/N): Tanatos!
Thanatos: Actually, it's Thanatos now. The extra H is for HAMAZING!!
Pit: Uh, what's up with this guy?
(Y/N): He's Medusa's second in command.
Palutena: And the God of Death, so he has the only way to get into the path of the Underworld.
Thanatos: Oh I know of no such thing! Why don't we just talk it out? I'll have you know that I much prefer honey to vinegar!
Pit: Oh just shove it!
Thanatos: ME?! But you're the ones who have been talking throughout this entire arc!
Nevertheless, Palutena guided a path for both you and Pit to get through even into an elevator.
Pit: Ah this is so much better.
Palutena: (imitating a robot voice) Now approaching the second floor.
(Y/N): Really didn't need to-
Thanatos: Now approaching the Third Floor.
(Y/N): ....
Pit: .....
Palutena: .....
Thanatos: Are you three ignoring me?
With that you guys now manage to avoid strong water currents, as well as-
(Y/N): GIANT SERPENTS!!! AGH!!
You cut their heads off, and grab Pit!
(Y/N): We're getting to Thanatos now!
You burst through the floor, and Thanatos appears.

Thanatos (The God of Death!)
Thanatos: Ah, you guys made it! Waiting around is such exhausting work!
Pit: Heroes always arrive late on the scene!
He transforms into a foot!
Pit: A foot?
(Y/N): Really? How much harm could a foot do?
Thanatos: Ever heard of Athlete's foot?
He starts stomping but then feels a bunch of stabs from both of you!
(Y/N): TURN INTO SOMETHING ELSE!!
He then turns into a bat!
Thanatos: KEE KEE!!
Pit: Bats don't even say that.
Thanatos: WOOP WOOP WOOP WOOP!!
(Y/N): They don't even say that!!
You put him in a jar and hake him around.
(Y/N): JUST KNOCK IT OFF!
He then breaks out as a sword.
But then you break him into pieces with the Sword of Light!
Pit: This is getting really sad. How much more are you going to keep it up like this?
Thanatos: Uh...
Before he can say anything you stab him.
(Y/N): Get lost amateur.
Thanatos: FAREWELL!!!
And with that, he disappears and becomes a gem.
Palutena: That's our key to the Underworld. Make sure not to drop it!
