You had just transferred schools only three days ago because of your parents. They were getting severely underpaid at their old jobs, so they upgraded greatly to a big company business in a new town that you now live in. The only downside of moving, is not knowing anybody.

You couldn't help but continue to think about getting lost, not being able to find your class on time and having to walk in late, etc. It's your worst nightmare.

And it was coming true.

*

As you clutched your paper schedule in your hand, you continued to glance at it every few seconds to make sure you were in the right hallway. Except, as you walked through the seemingly never-ending hallway, it felt like everyone was watching you. But you didn't even spare a glance at anybody. You just felt so out of place.

Your hands were shaking, but you managed to keep them steady to anyone who stared. You continued walking down the hallway at a fast pace, passing by a small group of boys. But you only knew that because of their strong cologne that filled the air around them.

One of them glanced your way, eventually leading them all to one by one.

"Who is that?"

"New student?"

All but one boy just looked in your direction, knowing that you were lost. He broke away from his friends and headed your way quickly before you could disappear from his sight.

"New girl!" you heard a voice call out from behind you.

"Smooth," one of his friends mumbled in the background.

You turned around, figuring that the shout of the nickname was directed toward you, and made eye contact with one of the boys that you had previously passed. You couldn't help but think of how pretty he is. From his wavy black hair that fell just below his eyebrows, to his charming attractive looks.

"Me?" you asked, pressing your finger against your chest as you looked up at the boy despite already knowing the answer.

He nodded with a light shade of pink flushing to his cheeks.

"Do you need help finding your class?" he asked, taking a quick glance at your schedule in your hand.

Glancing down at your schedule, you looked back up at the boy a little confused as to why he was suddenly offering to help. But you didn't protest since being stubborn was the last thing you wanted to do.

You handed the boy your schedule sheepishly, feeling a little embarrassed to need help. But he was quick to look over the whole schedule, reading the classroom numbers and the teachers.

"You have history first," he broke the silence, startling you to look up at him.

"I do..is that bad?" you asked him, tilting your head as you furrowed your eyebrows.

Suddenly, two boys came skipping over to you two just as the bell rang for first period. One of them grabbed the boy's shoulders harshly, making both you and him startled again.

"Who is this, Jeongin?" one of the boys, who you presumed was his friend, asked as he scanned you with his eyes quickly. He had a grin on his face, glancing over to the other friend who was clinging to the boy's shoulder.

The boy, or Jeongin as you just learned, looked at you with a small smile.

"Yes. It is bad," Jeongin answered your question with no context, watching you laugh a little as you looked back down at the ground.

"This is Jisung, and this is Changbin," Jeongin introduced his two friends with a tucked, dimpled smile that made your heart flutter.

The two waved to you with warm smiles.

"I'm Y/n," you greeted them with a small smile, sparing them quick glances between the both of them.

"Do you have first period with us?" Changbin asked you, getting off of his friend's shoulder.

You nodded, feeling your cheeks get hotter again as Jeongin handed you your schedule back. Jisung grinned ear to ear at Jeongin, opening his mouth to say something until a hand quickly clamped over it. Jeongin's to be exact.

"We're going to be late to class, Jisung," Jeongin smiled at his friend whom he was keeping shut as he wrapped an arm around his shoulder.

"Mhm!" Jisung exclaimed under Jeongin's hand in which muffled his voice completely.

When passing them earlier you thought they were the jocks who tripped kids in the hallways like the movies. Apparently you were wrong. They were complete dorks.

Jeongin finally released his friend from his hold and turned to lean down right beside your ear, making your heart skip a beat.

"Don't listen to anything they say to you," he warned you in a whisper.

You nodded, keeping your mouth pressed shut in a smile as Changbin and Jisung were grinning at Jeongin.

"Jeongin's got a girlfriennndddd!" Jisung sang, hopping up and down.

"Yah!" a voice shouted at the four of you from behind.

You all quickly turned around to face a teacher, grabbing Jeongin's sleeve out of impulse and nervousness.

"This is your third time this week for being late to class, you three!" a teacher shouted your way just as his eyes landed on you.

"And for the love of god, don't drag the new student into this." the teacher threw his arms up in the air, slapping them down at his sides.

Changbin and Jisung gave the teacher a thumbs up and quickly apologized nonchalantly to him before leaving to the class finally. They seem to know the teacher well enough not to get written up or in trouble.

Jeongin looked down at you with a smile on his face, letting his eyes glance down at your hand that was clutching his sleeve still.

"You can let go now," he said to you, snapping you out of your thoughts.

"Oh!" you quickly exclaimed, releasing your hand from his shirt with your face getting red almost instantly. "Sorry-"

But Jeongin just laughed it off, and so did you.

"Class?" Jeongin suggested, raising his eyebrows as he pushed his chin in the direction of the classroom.

You nodded with a smile, feeling your face getting hot again from his perfect smile beaming down on you.
