"YOU IDIOT, I TOLD YOU NOT TO PUT TINFOIL IN THE MICROWAVE!" Changbin shouted at Jisung while frantically taking the tinfoil that just sparked everywhere out of the microwave and into the sink.

"YOU SAID TO MICROWAVE LEFT OVERS, CHANGBIN!" Jisung yelled back, throwing his arms up in the air.

"NOT THE TINFOIL!"

While the two continued to bicker and argue in the kitchen, you and Chan were both in his room down the hallway. You were sat on his bed with your back up against the headboard while Chan was sitting on the edge of the bed on his laptop.

He was completely immersed in his work, but he always managed to make conversation with you and acknowledge your existence. He didn't want to work all night with you over, so he only finished up a couple of things and turned his attention to you. However, you couldn't help but notice how exhausted he looked.

"You should get some rest," you told him, sitting at the edge of the bed with him as you played around with the ends of his hair so it wasn't in his face.

His eyes seemed to droop a little, but he caught himself and only looked over at you with loving eyes.

"But you're here, I don't want to sleep the entire time," he seemed to whine, snuggling up to you with his face smooshed against your chest and his arms holding you tightly.

Oh, he is so stubborn.

His head then shot up to look at you with wide eyes.

"Movie night?" Chan asked with excitement despite his exhausted state.

You couldn't say no to him, so you nodded and agreed.

You set up the movie in their living room while Chan retrieved the younger boys, Jisung and Changbin. If you didn't invite them, they'd for sure start an argument or annoy you and Chan the whole night.

So, you picked out a regular romance movie that both Jisung and surprisingly Changbin like. It's your all-time favorite. Mainly because it reminds you of Chan.

"Hyung," Jisung's voice erupted from your left, making Chan look over at him from your right.

Jisung then looked down at Chan.

"Not you, the other hyung," Jisung corrected himself, holding his phone up to face him and Changbin on the other end of the big sofa to take a selfie.

You let out a small laugh and patted your boyfriend's shoulder as he shot Jisung a glare.

"I'm just 'other hyung?'" Changbin asked, putting a hand over his chest as he pretended to be offended.

Jisung let out a laugh as he took a picture with Changbin poking his dimples with a cute smile and Jisung holding up the 'V' sign.

20 something minutes passed, and Jisung and Changbin were completely engulfed in the movie. They were so into the plot that they didn't blink for minutes at a time. However, Chan was being more quieter than usual.

You turned your head and looked down at him, finding him nodding off. His head fell backward but he quickly jolted it back up immediately, opening his eyes slowly. You couldn't help but feel bad for him. With his huge workload, he hasn't been able to sleep well at all for weeks.

"Sorry," he apologized, readjusting his position on the couch next to you to be more comfortable.

"Don't be sorry, just go to sleep," you told him softly, bringing your hand up to the back of his head as you slowly ran your fingers through his hair.

As if it were his off-button, his eyes almost immediately closed and he pulled you closer to him by your waist. He rested his head on your shoulder as you wrapped your arm around his waist as well.

Chan was so exhausted that he managed to fall asleep in an uncomfortable, up-right position. But because he was resting on you, none of that mattered. Despite him wanting you to feel safe and overprotected by him, he can't help but feel safe and tranquil in your arms. You just wished he could understand how much you would sacrifice for him.

Both Changbin and Jisung were finally quiet, which made Chan at peace. But you were afraid to move in the slightest, fearful of him waking up and not being able to fall back asleep.

You carefully laid back, propping your feet up on the ottoman as you gently moved Chan's head onto your stomach. He only moved around for a few seconds so he could find your hand and intertwine your fingers together.

Your heart was about to burst at how cute he looked while sleeping. But the other half of you was just overly happy that he was finally getting rest.

You smiled fondly at Chan's beautiful resting eyelids, his cheek smushed against your shirt.

"Y/n-"

"Shh," you quietly cut Jisung off, putting your finger up to your lips.

He mouthed 'sorry' silently to you as he got up from the sofa, followed by Changbin.

"We're going to our rooms, good night Noona," Jisung said in the quietest whisper, over exaggerating his mouth movements as he tiptoed out of the room.

"JEoGiYo NoONa, HoKsHi NamJa ChInGU-"

"SHH!" you heard Jisung shush Changbin harshly down the hall, along with a door closing.

You looked back down at Chan who was completely knocked out with his head laying on you. A smile spread onto your lips as you softly caressed his cheek ever so gently so he wouldn't stir awake.

For weeks, no matter where he tried sleeping, he wasn't able to get rest. But in your arms, it was the easiest thing for him to do.

That's because he feels so safe in his love's arms.

You're his Safe Place.
