Scarlett Louviere

Opening my eyes I walked to the window and pushed it open to smell the cold air of Paris as snow fell over the city.

Tomorrow we would all be going home so that I could go back to school but I didn't really want to as I quite enjoyed being here not just at home, but in the city I grew up in as a little girl.

Suddenly there was a knock on the door and I turned to see Eve peek her head in.

"Miss Louviere, your parents are downstairs they have to go out for business, but will be back by twelve. Breakfast is ready as well, I made buttermilk pancakes".

"Thank you Eve" I say turning to look at her and she smiles at me before closing the door and leaving me to get ready for the day.

After showering I dressed in black seamless pants, and a turtleneck sweater since it was cold as hell outside, I then did my makeup, and went downstairs to join Eve in the kitchen where she prepared breakfast, and had set a mug of coffee out for me.

"This looks amazing, merci" I say sitting down at the table and she smiles at me.

"Am I allowed to join you for breakfast?" she asks and I give her a look.

"Of course you are, it's my parents that have rules about that not me" I say and she sits with her own mug of coffee while I ate.

After a few minutes I looked up at her.

"Have you eaten?".

"Yes I ate in the staff house" she replies and I nod slowly.

I never really liked that she had to live her life away from the rest of my family when she was as much a part of it as I was.

"From now on, you eat with me, you raised me what denies you the rate to be included?" I muse though it was an order and I wasn't asking.

"I don't think I would be allowed to do it".

"I gave you permission if my parents don't like it it's my fault" I say, "that's the end of it" I add assertively and she shakes her head slightly though she seemed both amused and happy that I was like this.

After breakfast I told her that I would be the one to wash everything to give her a break, and I wished to be a little bit defiant to my parents stupid rules for Eve.

Once that was done I walked to the front door and slid on a pair of black suede boots that went to just below my knee, and a red coat, with a matching beret.

"I'm going to see the Louvre" I say opening a drawer and smiling at the selection.

Nathan rubbed off ever so slightly.

"Okay see you in a bit, if your parents are home before you I'll tell them where you went" Eve calls back.

"Thank you" I reply and slip out the front door before going to the garage and scanning around the room until my eyes found the red Lamborghini Aventador.

Lifting the door I then slid into the car, and started it before driving off towards the Louvre, which used to be a palace and government building until being converted into a historic monument people could travel to and visit.

As I got to the monument, I stopped and found a parking spot before sliding out of the car and walking up to the former palace.

Renaissance had apparently been the theme, but I knew the history of this place was older then that.

Tourists stood around the glass pyramid in the middle of the courtyard many with cameras and I smiled at the idea of so many people taking pictures.

"Does your name dictate the colour of your choice?" a British accented voice sounds behind me and I smile turned from the Louvre to face the raven haired boy behind me.
