48. Pihu & Papa's Shopping Date- Part 2

Maitri's House-

Priya, Maitri, Sandy and Sara were together after years. All of them missed each other a lot. It was a reunion of the Sood sisters.
Maitri: Pri di main dil se chah rahi thi ke aap aur Pihu Ram jiju ke saath raho. Aur yeh finally ho gaya. I'm really happy.
Priya(with a smile): Maine kabhi nahi socha tha Maitri ke yeh din aayega bass sapne the kuch jo poore ho gaye. Main chahti thi ke Pihu aur Mr. Kapoor mile, ek dusre ko jaane, saath rahe par darti thi Pihu ke liye.
Maitri(nodding): Sara di ki engagement party mein Jiju ko dekha tha maine Pri di. He was not at all happy. Woh Ram jiju jo hamesha haste the, woh hassi hi gayab thi.
Priya sighed loudly, giving a sad smile to Maitri.
Sandy: Ussi din toh party mein Vedika ko lekar itna drama hua. Pihu toh khel gayi kamaal ka. Jiju ko bhi chup kara diya.
Priya and Maitri chuckled at that.
Maitri: Waise Maa kaisi hai? Neeraj bol rahe the ke woh Rishikesh gayi hain. Phone nahi lag raha.
Sandy looked at Priya nervously.
Priya: Achhi hain Maitri. Wahan network nahi mil raha isiliye shayad phone nahi laga tera.
Maitri: Haan woh hi hoga.
Priya(trying to change the topic): Woh chorh. How are you and the puchku?
Maitri(giggling, caressing her tummy): Bilkul thik thak. Wait main ultrasound ke photos dikhati hoon.
Sandy passed the bag to Maitri. Maitri pulled out the photos from her bag and handed them over to Priya and Sandy.
Sandy: Hayeeee! Kitna cute hai na....
Priya was seeing the photos smiling with tears in her eyes. She remembered her pregnancy period and how her experience was. She had already accepted her fate but it hurt her all the time thinking how the happiest period of their life, turned into the darkest period of their life.
"Yeh sab nahi sochna hai Priya. Tere paas teri family hai ab, teri apni happy family Pihu aur Mr. Kapoor ke saath. Tu jaanti hai ke jo hua usse badla nahi jaa sakta. Tujhe khush rehna chahiye! Bilkul yeh sab nahi sochna hai", Priya thought, blinking back her tears.
As if on cue a message from Ram came in her phone. Priya opened the message box and saw a series of photos of the adorable father-daughter duo smiling, sticking their tongues out, making funny faces. Instantly Priya let out a chuckle with happy tears in her eyes.
Sandy: Kya hua Pri di?
Priya forwarded her phone to her with a smile.
Others(laughing): Aarreyyy dono cutiesss!
Priya: Cute toh hain aur badmaash bhi!
Priya sent two heart emojis to Ram and then engaged herself with her sisters.

Ram and Pihu went to the ground floor of the boutique to shop for Ram.
Ram started showing Pihu some suits that he liked.
Ram: Princess kaunsa achha hai?
Pihu(scrunching her nose): Sab achhe Hain....but....
Ram: But?
Pihu(pulling him by his hand): Yeh dekho! Kitne pyaare color hain....
Pihu pointed towards the sweatshirts.
Ram: Noooooo.... I don't wear these. Main toh suits pehenta hoon.
Pihu(pouting): Par yeh bohot cute hain....please try karo na Papa! Pleaseeee!
"Huh! Ab kya karun! Try toh karna padega. College ke baad se yeh sweatshirts kabhi nahi pehne maine", Ram thought.
Pihu: Papa! Kya soch rahe ho? Jao jao!
Ram: Jaa raha hoon meri maa!
Pihu pointed at a navy blue and a mustard yellow sweatshirt. Pihu narrowed her eyes seeing Ram still making face.
Ram: Pihu bachhe yahan se kahin nahi jaana okay? Isha please keep an eye on Pihu.
Isha: Sure Sir.
Pihu: Main kahin nahi jaayungi.
Ram stooped towards Pihu, forwarding his pinky finger.
Ram: Promise me.
Pihu intertwined her pinky finger with his, shaking her head.
Pihu: Main kahin nahi jayungi I promise.
Ram(smiling): Thank you. Main aata hoon.
Pihu nodded with a smile.

Ram changed into the yellow sweatshirt with blue jeans and started making faces looking at himself in the mirror.
Ram: Yeh Pihu chahti kya hai? Priya hassegi mujhe aise dekhke. Joker lagg raha hoon. Abhi nahi pehna toh daant padegi Pihu se! Itni badi badi eyes karke daanti hai Priya ki tarah!
Ram took a deep breath and decided to go out. He went out and saw Pihu patiently waiting for him. She saw him and raised her eyebrows in surprise.
Pihu: Wow! Bohot cute lagg rahe ho Papa! Kaha tha maine! Meri choice best hoti hai!
Ram giggled looking Pihu, self praising. Her bright smile was enough for him to buy all the sweatshirts available there.
Ram: Achha baba thik hai I'll take it.
Pihu: Yayyyy!
