Adrienne

The week seemed to go by extremely slow for some reason. The Grammy's were just next week and everyone was expecting of me to make one grand entrance. Of course I was excited but the only problem was having my dress shipped from Paris in time.

On Friday morning, my fight had just landed in San Diego. It was a few things I needed to take care of but I still managed to make it back to Los Angeles before Sunday morning.

Thankfully my dressed arrived the night before, and the whole morning the amazing styling crew spent hours on me. Lawrence did his thing on my hair, while my face went beyond beat. Kirsten sadly wasn't in town but it didn't mean Zizi couldn't attend the awards with me. Ky called me earlier in the morning, and he was a huge support.

I felt way too angelic in the Michael Costella white, laced backless, long- sleeved dress with white Giuseppi Zanotti sandals. Everyone around couldn't help but take pictures and I felt as gorgeous as ever.

"My best friend is about to slay these damn Grammy's"

The amount of cameras gave me a light headache but fighting through it all and giving nothing but smiles and sexy poses is what they wanted from me on the red carpet.

"Adrienne, you look extremely gorgeous tonight"

I smiled, "Thank you"

"White is so amazing on you"

The interviewer couldn't help but chuckle as she adjusted her microphone.

"Yeah, I absolutely love the color white and I don't wear it exactly too much but I had too tonight"

"So are you excited? You're nominated for an award tonight"

"Umm of course I am"

"What does tonight feel for you?"

"It feels pretty crazy, it's packed. There are people everywhere"

My eyes roamed around looking at the amount of individuals and stars moving around.

"How did you prepare for the Grammy's this morning?"

"Umm how did I prepare?" I asked myself, chuckling. "Uh, I woke up late extremely early and spent hours with my styling crew"

"Last question, what did you listen to on the ride here?"

I softly bit the inside of my cheek trying to remember, "Umm I think it was shawty I don't mind"

"Oh, I love that song"

"Same here"

"Adrienne best of luck tonight, I am definitely rooting for you and have fun. It's the Grammy's"

"Thank you and I will"

The show began around five. Performances came through and so did nominations. The category I was in was being presented right now and after showing the nominees I sat patiently with Zizi as they were soon to announce the winners.

"Best pop solo performance goes to. Adrienne Taylor"

It really caught me off guard that I would win over Pharell and John Legend. I stood up to feet hugging Azeena before receiving some help onto the stage and accepting the gold award.

My speech was short and simple, and after making it back to my seat we enjoyed the rest of the show. The Grammy's were always one of my favorite award shows. It was when everyone could have a good time and honestly we all had a good time.

I had conversation with different stars and shared a few photos with some. Around eleven the after party had started, and I was dressed in a different out which consisted of a Julia black sexy cut out dress with a pair of black and white Alejandra G Wanda Lace Up sandals.

Parties were always great but the time was now heading to two in the morning and I was already slightly drunk which was my cue to go back to the hotel.

Kyrie called me in the morning apologizing for not being able to watch the show caused for the game they had and I was understanding about it. He even congratulated on the win as well. I wanted to talk to him longer, but the whole no phone on a plane killed the whole vibe.

I did call him back when we made it safely in France, Monday afternoon. This trip was exactly no free time at all and Liam made it very clear to me that I would have to remain complete focused.

"When is Kirsten coming back from Houston?"

Not a surprise that I would get hungry after the long work day and once I got my freedom from Liam, Zizi and I had no problem going to one of best restaurants in French Rivera.

"Last time we spoke she said next week"

"So she isn't going to be at the All Star game?"

I bit my bottom lip, before placing a chip in my mouth. "I don't even know if I'll be able to make All Star game. Liam is really overworking me here"

"Did you let Kyrie know?"

"I don't want to disappoint him"

"Tell Liam to give you an early day back to the States. Stop overworking yourself"

"I'm not overworking myself"

She didn't say anything but roll her eyes. We ate our food silently for a while, but I thought hard on the whole overworking myself. Maybe I should talk to Liam about cutting a day off for me, especially if I had any intentions on landing in New York before Friday.
