Choi Haewon POV

The bell rang loudly as I and Sunoo hurriedly ran through the halls, hoping we weren't too late for class. I breathed out as I reached the door. Opening it carefully all too thankful that the teacher hadn't arrived yet.

"Thank god" Sunoo muttered behind me as we walked to our seats and slumped down. "Next time we ain't stopping by seven-eleven"

"Yes, we are. Only next time we are leaving earlier so that we get more time to eat" I shot back. There is no way in heaven I'm quitting going to seven eleven before school. Well, I don't do it every day, only a few days, especially the days I'm feeling unmotivated to live and just want to exist in my bed.

The door opened and Miss Min walked in. "Hello class" she greeted. "I am pleased to announce we have a new student here today. Now, I expect you all to be on your best behavior and give her a warm welcome"

A girl walked in. Let me give you a better discretion: she looked a little shorter than me and had brownish hair and bangs. Designer shoes and a sting aura screaming 'Don't mess with me'. She wore a cute kind of makeup, one of those you see on Pinterest when you search for Chinese makeup.
But there was something off about her though. Maybe it was the way she eminently locked eyes with Sunoo as she walked in. Oh shut up, just because someone looks at him does not mean they're a bad person. Get your act together Haewon.

"Hello," she greeted.

I took out my AirPods and plugged them into my ears before I could hear anything else of what was said. She was new, ok, was she relevant to me? No. Out of sight out of mind.
I smiled to myself as I folded my arms on my desk and rested my head on it.

After a few minutes, I felt someone tap me on my shoulder. "Yah Sunoo, five more minutes," I said lowly.
Suddenly someone took the AirPods out of my air. I shot my head towards them, only to find Miss Min standing over me with a hand on her hip and an irritated look painted on her face.

"Enjoying your sleep Miss Haewon?"

"Yes- or I was until you disturbed it" The sound of numerous low giggles erupted through the classroom.

"Detention after school"

"Ugh"

"Do you want to have detention tomorrow also?"

"No Miss Min" I took out my AirPods and put them back in the case. "Single bitch, that's why you're in your late forties and single" I whispered so that only me and Sunoo could hear it. Sunoo snorted and covered his mouth quickly as he realized that the whole class could hear him.

"Yes, mister Kim?" Miss Min said stopping what she was doing. "Anything you want to share with the class?"

He shook his head "Sorry".
