She's So Mean

She sighed softly as she walked down the sidewalk, sunglasses perched on her nose. She stared forward as she walked, ignoring everyone around her. "Hey, beautiful!" A man called out and she ignored him. "What a bitch." His friend called and Ashley gritted her teeth. She ignored them and kept walking, hearing her heels click against the sidewalk as she walked. Her black heels with her tight, black skinny jeans. Her black crop top and small black jacket.

"Wear some colour, darling!" Another man called out and she just sighed. "Don't ignore me, babe!" The same man called. Ashley knew she shouldn't be out this late at night. But she couldn't help it, she had places to go and people to see. She felt a strong pair of hands on grasp her hips. "Hey, baby. What's up with the dark colours?" He asked and she turned to look at him. She immediately stepped on his foot and he yelled out. "You bitch!" He hollered and raised his hand to slap her. She grabbed his hand before he could even touch her, throwing it back and lifting up her heel.

She kicked him hard in the stomach and he yelled several swears as he fell. "Ugh, what a pig." She mumbled quietly to herself before stepping over his groaning body, continuing to walk down the sidewalk. The only sound now being the click of her heels.

Alone Together

"I'm scared.." Preston whispered in a feeble voice, his whole body shaking. Rob grabbed onto Prestons shoulders, trying to calm him down. Even though he was shaking himself. "I know, Preston. I know you're scared, I'm scared too." Rob said in a quiet tone, not wanting to be too loud.

Outside, they heard a ton of movement. Which scared Preston more. "We're gonna die!" Preston cried out and Rob wiped away some blood on Prestons cheek. Preston sniffed and on his left arm, a visible bite was shown. On Rob's right ankle, there was a visible bite. The groaning outside the door got louder and Rob hugged Preston. "We're alone together, we'll change together." Preston whispered as he leaned up against Robs chest.
But only one of them changed a few hours later.

Rob quickly moved backwards, crawling against the ground. He watched with wide eyes as Prestons lifeless body slowly stood up, his head turning towards Rob. "Preston?" He whispered quietly and Preston began walking forward. "I thought we were suppose to change at the same time!" Rob exclaimed and scrambled back again, Preston groaning as he walked forward.

Rob felt his back his the wall and watched in horror as his boyfriend walked towards him, groaning and looking lifeless. He grabbed his gun from his belt and aimed it towards Preston. "Please don't be real.." Rob whispered quietly as he aimed the gun at his head. When given no response, Rob closed his eyes tightly and pulled back the trigger.

Alternate ending:
He grabbed his gun from his belt and aimed it towards Preston. "Please don't be real.." Rob whispered quietly. As he got no reply, he turned the gun around. "I can't shoot Preston.." He whispered as tears streamed down his face, watching his lover move closer and closer to him.

But his lover was a zombie now. "But I can shoot myself." Rob whispered as he brought the tip of the gun, aiming it in his mouth. "Goodbye, Preston. I love you." He whispered, waiting for him to say it back. When given no response, Rob closed his eyes tightly and pulled back the trigger.
