Jay let out a short breath as he walked, his pacing extremely slow. He wasn't in a hurry to get where he was heading. In fact, the slower he moved? The better. He kept his hands stuffed into his jacket pockets, his feet moving slowly against the hard sidewalk.

His head was slanted downwards a bit, thoughts of what he was about to do clouding his mind. One thought came to mind, the thought of not doing this. The thought of just, walking away from where he was heading and just forget about the thoughts. He smiled slightly at that thought, until harsh reality came crashing down.

He wasn't wanted. Not by anyone. His family? Kicked him out. His friends? Started ignoring him. His best friend, the last person he thought cared for him? It was the worse of all. Jay hadn't even realized, either. He only found out by accident, when Lachlan and another friend were waiting for Jay.

Jay was in a Skype call with Lachlan and another friend. Jay had excused himself, saying he was going to grab something to eat. He muted his mic on his end and went to get up. "Thank fuck, he left." The friend said and Jay paused in his place. "Yeah, I know right." Lachlan agreed and a frown tugged on Jays lips.

"He'll be back though." The friend said with a groan and Lachlan laughed a bit. "I know, it sucks. I wish he would just never come back." Lachlan said and Jay could almost feel his heart rip in half. "Honestly. He's so, annoying." The friend said and Lachlan laughed. He laughed, at Jay. Jay felt tears prick the corners of his eyes, trying his best to blink them back.

"He's very annoying." Lachlan agreed with the friend, who chuckled lowly. "How do you even put up with all his whining and complaining, Lachy?" The friend asked Lachlan, but Jay couldn't bare to hear anymore. He put his hand on his mouse and moved it over, moving the house over the 'end call' button. "I don't, honestly. I just block out whatever he says." Jay shut his eyes tightly and clicked on the mouse, feeling as if he was going to break down.

He frowned to himself and sighed, a soft laugh falling from his lips. Of course no one would miss him, why would they? He was useless. All he did, was in fact bitch and whine. All he has ever done, if he was being honest. He was a worthless excuse of a human. He kept walking, ignoring the fact that his legs had began to get sore. The pain only fueled him.

He smiled as he saw the bridge approach his sight. Finally. It had felt like ages. He could finally feel the pain he so ever deserved. As his feet finally hit the pathway of the bridge, he felt even better. It was happening, he could finally end his sad and pathetic life.

He walked down the bridge a bit before stopping in the middle of it. It was the middle of the day, so someone was going to see him. No others were walking on the bridge, however. So it made it easier for him. He lifted himself over the railing, standing on the edge of the bridge. He stared down below, just seeing rocks and grass. He smiled to himself, holding onto the railing as he stared.

He heard a car screech to a halt behind him and frowned, That was sooner then he had thought. "Hey! What are you doing?" A woman's voice called out and Jay didn't reply, just staring down below. The woman said something else about calling the police and Jay heard her talking into her phone, he guessed. That was far too quick. Guess there were some nice people in the world. huh? Not that any of them mattered. He heard the car door open and slam shut, footsteps approaching. He gripped tighter onto the railing.

"Don't jump." The same woman's voice said and Jay let out a low sigh, not replying. She kept saying the same shit over and over again, more cars and trucks stopping. People got out and seemed to crowd around Jay. 'What,' Jay thought. 'Have they never seen anyone want to kill themselves?'

Once the police had finally shown up, the crowd got a little less full. Jay was only hesitating, because he hadn't planned on ruining others lives. They would see someone die, right in front of them. "What's your name, sir?" A male police officer asked Jay. The officer was against the railing, his arms folded. Jay didn't look at him, however. "Why does it matter?" Jay muttered bitterly, it being the first time anyone around had heard him speak. "Ah, so you can talk." The officer joked and pat Jay on the back, a laugh falling from his lips. Jay furrowed his eyebrows. How could anyone laugh at a time like this?

"You deserve to live, sir. I can promise you that. Your life can get better." The officer said and Jay let out a stiffened laugh. "Yeah, right. Sure I do." Jay said bitterly and the officer kept his hand on Jays shoulder, giving it a light squeeze. "Everyone does. I can promise that. Whatever you're going through right now, it'll pass. It may take some time, but it will pass." The officer said with a soft smile and Jay bit his lip. "Jay. My name is Jay." Jay muttered and the officer smiled softly. "Jay, you deserve to live." The officer said and Jay sighed softly, glancing back at him.

The officer was a bit taller then Jay. He had brown, messy hair and hazel eyes. He wore a normal police uniform and also wore a smile on his lips. "So, that's how you look." The officer said with a smile and Jay nodded slowly. "Climb over? We can talk through this, Jay." The officer said calmly, his voice being soothing. Jay let out a soft sigh and turned around, now fully facing the railing. "Fine." Jay said quietly and the officer smiled widely at Jay.

Jay went to climb over the railing, pushing away the negative thoughts thinking more, happy ones. All his thoughts suddenly cut off as his foot slipped, all the colour draining from the officers face. Jay stumbled backwards, a small gasp leaving his lips.

The officer ran forward and reached out, trying to grab Jays hand. It was too late, though. Jay stared at the officer, as if everything was in slow motion as he fell backwards. "Jay!" The officer called out as Jay kept falling back, his feet now off of the bridge entirely.

Jay smiled slightly and shut his eyes, listening to the wind rush. In a way, it was so soothing. It's what he wanted, after all. As he fell, he just smiled.

Then, everything faded to black as he impacted with the ground.
