I ran into my apartment, happy to realize my father wasn't home. Sighing, I walked to the fridge and opened it, my nose shriveling up at the smell of rotten takeout. I dug around past all the beer bottles and sighed in relief when I pick up a carton of eggs. I pulled an egg free and grabbed a bowl, some cooking spray, and sour cream. Microwave eggs, the poor man's delight. I sprayed the bowl, cracked the egg, and stirred it with a plastic fork before putting it in our old microwave. While I waited, I took of my cheesy hoodie. Good thing I have a few more hoodies I can use. I pulled the bowl out and put some sour cream on it before hurrying upstairs with my things. I locked the door to my room and dumped my hoodie and bag on the ground by my bed before sitting down on the bed with my food. I sighed, I guess I should check the school site. Apparently the highschool has it's own social media site for students, which they instantly sign you up for. I sat back, food in my mouth, and scrolled through my phone.

The harsh comments seemed to have stopped after that. I shut my eyes tightly, holding back my tears. I need to get this off my mind, I should work on my homework. So I did, for the rest of the night. It's okay though, I don't have school tomorrow since it's Halloween. i'll go see Ice and we will play video games. Eventually, I fell asleep.
...
I woke up the next morning, surprised that Dad hadn't come into my room to beat the shit out of me. Well, maybe he hooked up with someone? I don't know. I reached for my phone which was laying on edge of the bed. I turned it on and saw I had a million notifications from Ice.
Ice: Bro, where did u go?
Ice: I can't leave, I have 2 finish the school day.
Ice: WHERE R U?!
Ice: What number is ur apartment?!
Ice: JACK
Ice: SEAN I SWEAR TO GOD
Ice: plz answer me
Ice: I'm going 2 go 2 bed, gn. I hope u feel better.
Ice: We still up 4 tonight?
Jack: Yea, sorry I didn't answer u I was kinda avoiding my phone.
Ice: thank fucking god ur okay. Alright, well u r gonna meet me near the woods first! :3 We r gonna spook some peeps!!!
Jack: XD Cool w/ me, c u 2night
Ice: peace bruh
I turned off my phone and sighed. This is gonna be a loooong day.
