It was no surprise that Liam was protective over you, you was his youngest and only daughter.

So when he found out that you had a boyfriend that was older than you he wasn't happy, he wanted you to breakup with him but your mum talked him out of it.

But that didn't mean he didn't trust the boy, it was a late august evening, when you got a call from your boyfriend asking you to go to a club with him, but being 17 you wasn't old enough.

After explaining that you couldn't he got pissed at you then hung up, putting your phone on charge you walked down stair to spend some time with your dad before he goes on tour again.

"Hey daddy". You smiled sitting next to him on the sofa as he watched tv "hey sweetheart". He replied kissing your head "are you okay? You look upset". He asked worried "Jason's pissed at me for not going to a club with him". You explained "okay firstly don't swear and your 17 your not even old enough to be going to a club". He replied "I know that's what I said, then he hung up on me". You said with a sad smile "see this is the reason I told you not to date that boy". Liam said pissed off "daddy please don't start". You begged knowing he was right, Jason wasn't the nicest person to be around when he was angry.

You and Liam spend the next four hours cooking dinner together, chatting and singing before you decided it was time for you to go to bed.

It was around 1am when you woke up to your phone ringing, looking at the caller I'd you saw it was Jason "hello?". You asked half asleep "I need you to pick me up". He demanded drunkenly "its 1am I don't want to be driving at this time, can't you get a cab". You explained "No I want you to come and get me, if your not here in 15 minutes there's going to be trouble". He snapped before hanging up

Getting out of bed you put your dressing gown and slippers on before tiptoeing down the stairs and out the front door, opening your car door you quickly got in before driving to the club Jason was at.

17 minutes later you pulled up to see Jason standing there looking mad, before he got in the car "YOUR LATE I SAID 15 MINUTES". He shouted "I know I'm sorry". You whispered "just drive". He snapped.

Nodding you started the car again, driving down the road Jason saw a 24hour supermarket "pull over there I want a drink". He said pointing to the store " don't you think you've had enough to drink tonight". You said softly "did I ask for your opinion". He said as he slapped you round the face "now pulled over ". He shouted before grabbing the steering wheel, making your car go head on into traffic.

BEEEEEEPPPPPP was the last thing you heard before everything went black

It was about half past 2 when Liam woke up to someone knocking on his front door, sleepily getting out of bed and walking down the stairs, he opened the door he was shocked to see two police officers there.

"Can I help you". Liam asked worried letting them in "we're sorry to tell you this mr Payne but your daughter y/n was in a car crash and she's at the hospital". One of the officers explained "what she's in bed upstairs asleep". Liam replied "mr Payne her phone was in the car she got a call from someone about 30 minutes before she was had the crash". The officer said "is my baby girl okay?". Liam asked worried with tears in his eyes "I don't know how bad her injuries are but mr Payne you best go to the hospital it was pretty bad when we got there". He explained making Liam sob at the thought of his little girl hurt

Within half an hour Liam was dressed and at the hospital where y/n's doctor was waiting for him "it'll be best if we talk in my office". The doctor said with a sad smile, making Liam nod before following him.

"Mr Payne when y/n was brought in her the paramedics didn't know how bad she was injured, so we didn't know what to expect". The doctor started making Liam nod showing he understood "after doing some X-rays it showed y/n's broke several ribs, her wrist, her ankle and she's also broke two bones in her back". The doctor said showing Liam her X-rays "so what's going to happen now, well she be okay? Liam asked with tears running down his cheeks "mr Payne I'm sorry to tell you this but there's a 95% chance y/n will never walk again". He explained
