2.104 "Because Of You!"

ROUTE 29 BAR & GRILL

I walked into the Bar and Grill and saw Stefan's body laying there on a table.

I looked around "I know you're here, Katerina"

I turned around and saw her standing there smirking.

Katherine smirked "Adi. You're alive! I was half expecting Bon Bon or Caroline. Did you know Caroline's pregnant?"

i asked annoyed "How the hell are you alive?"

Katherine "i'm a survivor, sister, you should know that by now"

I walked to Stefan's body and smelled petrol on him.

I looked at Katherine "What did you do?"

Katherine "Ah. That. Yes. See, I was at a petrol station earlier, and I got a little bit carried away with the nozzle. I'm afraid your boyfriend is quite soaked."

She gestured toward the table "Come on. Sit down."

I just looked at her.

She pulled out a lighter and flicked it open.

Then she smiled "If you're not gonna join me for a drink, I suppose I could just skip forward to the after-party smoke."

I growled and sat down on a chair. 

Katherine sat down at the other side of the table and poured us a drink "So, do you want to talk about it?"

I raised an eyebrow "with you? hell, no"

Katherine nodded "Hell, yeah, Hell is a bitch"

Me "Nothing compared to you"

Katherine chuckled "that one hurt"

Me "Are we really doing this? pretend this is normal? Because i ain't doing this shit"

Katherine nodded " Yes, we're really doing this. You know, I've never had the opportunity to hear stories of a Stone survivor. Come on. How'd you fare? Tell me everything."

I smiled " Gladly. As soon as Stefan's home and his soul and Damon's are sucked out of that rock, we can all sit and pop open a bottle of chardonnay, chat, and eat bonbons 'til the sun comes up."

Katherine nodded "Heh heh. Hmm. Sounds good. I can imagine it was complete and utter misery."

Me "I expected more, though, it was kinda disappointing."

Katherine raised an eyebrow  "So, it didn't work on you?"

I shrugged "It was called hell. Let's just say I had expectations."

Katherine "I think you simply resisted."

I chuckled "Resisted what?"

She pulled out the lighter once again and lit it up "You resisted facing the pain you so naturally and willfully push away."

Me "how are you alive?"

Katherine chuckled "what do you think?"

She then threw the lit lighter at Stefan and set his body ablaze.

My eyes widened and i ran to him.

I sobbed out " No, Stefan! Stef..."

Katherine chuckled " It's too late, dear sister."

I shook my head feeling tears in my eyes  "No..."

Katherine chuckled "Yes"

I shook my head and looked at her "This isn't real"
