A Blooming Relationship (A Joe Sugg FanFiction)

Chapter Seven.

Aly's POV

Waking up in a hotel bed isn't the same as being with Joe, I begged him to come to the hotel with me, but he politely declined because he said he has to arrange something for today.

My mom and Bryan said that we would all meet downstairs in the lobby at 10:30, and it's 9:55, so I suppose I should quickly get ready. By the time I'm dressed and heading into the lobby it's 10:32. My family is already sitting down waiting for me. They have three balloons and gifts waiting for me.

"Happy Birthday!" They all yell when I sit down.

"Thanks!"

"Open gifts before we order our food."

I open Joshs' first and it's a eyeshadow palette.

"I honestly don't know what it is, except being make-up," Josh admitted laughing.

"Eyeshadow, and thanks!"

Next is Jesss', I open it and it's a travel size contactable phone charger.

"This is actually really cool! Thanks Jess!"

"I thought you would like it! Yay!"

Finally it's my moms' and Bryans' present.

It's a small box, so I open it and it's a key. Not like a car key, like a house key.

"What?"

"Well, you don't have your present yet, it's just a key. But we will pay for a years' rent at a flat for you. Anywhere. So you have to think where you want to live and we'll find either a flat or small apartment for you," Bryan explains as my mom smiles giddily.

"Happy?" My mom asks.

"Super! Best present ever!"

We all eat breakfast and within the hour we are all done. My mom and Bryan said they're going to see a show at the theatre today, and I don't know what Jess and Josh will be doing.

Around 12, Joe texts me.

"Can I pick you up now?! I'm tired of waiting. Lol."

"Haha yes, I'm ready babe!"

"On my way!"

Within five minutes Joe arrives at the lobby of the hotel.

"Hello Birthday Girl!" Joe says as he picks me up and kisses me.

"Joe!"

"Let's get going babe!"

"Alright!"

We get into his car and start driving away.

"So what did you get?" Joe asks.

"Ok, so Josh got me make-up, Jess got me a contractable phone charger and my mom and Bryan got me this!" I said as I held up the key.

"A key?"

"Yes! A years' rent at any flat or apartment, anywhere!"

"That's awesome!"

We pull up to Joe's apartment and get out. When we go inside Zoe's there with a little party hat on.

"Happy Birthday Aly!"

On the counter there's a cake and above it there's a small banner.

"How cute! Thanks!"

"Anything for you!" Joe says while Zoe agrees.

"Well I have to run! Sorry I can't stay longer! I have work!" Zoe says as she gets her bag and leaves.

"Well, I was going to do something huge and extravagant for your birthday but then I was selfish and wanted you all for me today," Joe said as he kissed my neck.

"Here's my present babe."

Joe hands me a small velvet box. I look up to him and he nods for me to continue. I open it and inside a ring. A small band with a design and engraved words. On the outside, it had a design and said, 'Promise,' while the inside of the band had been engraved to say 'Joe & Alyson.'

"It's perfect!" I managed to say before tearing up. Joe slipped it on my ring finger and it fit perfectly.

"Thank you so much!"

"You're so welcome!" Joe said while breaking the kiss, "Alyson, I love you."

"Joe, I love you too!"

We both had some cake and then we decided to just stay at his apartment for the day.

"So where are you planning on living?" Joe asks.

"Well, hopefully somewhere in England, because I want to be close to you."

"I can help you look at flats nearby in London?"

"That would be a great help!"

"Want to look online now?"

"Sure."

Joe got up and we went into his room on his bed with his laptop and looked at nearby flats.

"There is one in this same complex, or a couple a block away, and about 7 within two miles."

"Let's look at the one in this complex."

"In this complex, it's a similar set up to this, rental, two bedroom, one bath, kitchen, living room, parking spots, and heating."

"I like the sound of that one."

"I can email the link to Bryan if you want."

"Sounds great."

Joe and I messed around for the rest of the evening, looking at flats and for a while we talked about our future.

"Once we get married, we'll have a couple of kids and settle down!" Joe joked.

"That's not a bad idea..." I trailed off.

"But we have time until that, time for us."
