A Blooming Relationship (A Joe Sugg FanFiction)

Chapter Forty-Two.

Joe's POV

  After we rested for a bit, around 6pm, we all met up again for dinner. Aly carried Fletcher and I carried Maisie. Zoe and Alfie recommended a restaurant that sits on the beach.

  "It's so pretty!" Aly exclaimed as we were seated on a outside patio at the restaurant. The waitress brought over two high chairs for the kids.

  "Thank you," I nodded.

  After we were seated and chose what to eat, we ordered and ate our food. We all happened to order different types of paella. Both Alfie and Aly had seafood, while Zoe and I had chicken. Fletch ate some chips and Aly said she would feed Maisie back at the hotel.

  "Do you want to look around the stores on the beachfront?" Zoe asked Aly.

  Aly looked at me, almost for permission.

  "Babe, you go if you want, you don't have to ask me," I said as I rubbed her back.

  "Sure!" Aly agreed.

  They both got up, and I took Maisie from Aly and held her.

  "Mummy!" Fletcher whined as Aly got up to leave.

  "I'll be right back!" Aly said as she quickly walked away with Zoe, leaving Alfie and I with the kids.

  I put Maisie in the baby carrier and then held Fletcher to stop him crying.

  "Shh," I said as I bounced him.

  "Do you want to go back to the hotel and play FIFA?" Alfie suggested.

  "Sure!" I agreed as we got up to leave.

  I carried Maisie in her baby carrier and Alfie held Fletcher, who stopped crying, on his back.

  Once we got back to the hotel, I set Maisie in her crib and Fletcher sat on my lap on the bed as Alfie and I played FIFA on an xbox. It wasn't until around 9pm, that Aly and Zoe got back to the hotel. They both came into our room and Aly put down her bags of things she had bought. Fletcher was asleep on my lap with his head leaning on my arm. Alfie sat next to me as we finished our game of FIFA.

  "Yes!" I whisper-yelled as I scored the winning goal.

  "Damn it!" Alfie joked.

  "Haha you guys!" Aly giggled.

  I quietly got up to put Fletcher in his crib and then sat back down on the bed.

  "Alright, one last game?" Alfie asked.

  "Ok!" I said as Zoe sat down next to Alfie and Aly sat next to me on the bed.

  We started another game and this last one, Alfie won 9-8. Eventually, Alfie and Zoe went back to their hotel room.

  "Did you have fun?" I asked Aly as she cuddled next to me.

  "Lots," Aly giggled.

  "What?" I laughed.

  "Nothing! You're just cute!" Aly said as she gave me a kiss, "Do you want me to show you what I bought?"

  "Sure!"

  "Ok well, first I bought this scarf," Aly shows me as she holds up a patterned scarf, "Then, I got this summer dress, and I got Maisie a onesie-dress and a headband, and than I got Fletcher some sandals and another shirt, then finally, I got you this tank top and these shoes."
