Aly's POV

I cannot believe that we are with my parents. I didn't realize how much I missed them! Last night we landed in Los Angeles. Bryan drove all of us down to Pismo and then dropped us off at our nice hotel.

"Good morning babe," Joe smiled at me.

"Good morning," I smiled, "What time is it?"

"Around 12 pm," Joe smiled as he sat up in bed.

The kids were awake in their crib that they're sharing.

Joe got up, wearing his boxer briefs, and went to the bathroom.

I got up and got the kids out of their crib.

  "Mama!" Fletcher smiled.

Maisie giggled and gurgled as well, making baby noises as she crawled around the bed. I looked at my phone and I had a text from my mom:

"Hotel has your car keys, just show your room card, come over whenever! Love you!"

Joe and I quickly showered together and then got dressed. The weather here is so warm, especially for December, I've missed it. We then bathed the kids and got them dressed. I grabbed the kids' diaper bag and Joe held Maisie and I held Fletcher's hand as we walked down to the lobby. Once we got our rental car keys, I drove us down to my old house.

"Wow, this is nice," Joe said as we pulled up.

"Thanks," I said, "I love this house."

We got out and Joe got the diaper bag and I got Maisie and Fletcher walked between Joe and I.

"We can just go in," I said to Joe as we walked up to the porch.

  "Okay," Joe smiled.

Joe opened the door and we walked in.

  "Alyson!" My mom greeted us.

  "Hi mom," I smiled.

I put Maisie down and she crawled around, following Fletcher. Joe wrapped his arm around my waist.

  "Where's Caleb?" I asked.

  "Caleb!" My mom said.

Caleb came running in from the backyard slide doors.

  "Caleb!" I said.

"Aly!" Caleb cheered as he gave me a hug and I picked him up and held him on my hip.

  "You're so big!" I laughed.

Caleb played with Fletcher and Maisie on the carpet. However, Maisie slipped on a toy and fell on her little arm and started crying. Joe quickly got up and picked her up, rocking her in his arms, an attempt to make her stop crying. Unfortunately, Maisie did not stop crying, so Joe quietly got up and starting walking around, rocking, and gently bouncing Maisie. I could hear him humming and shushing soothly to Maisie.

"He's a good father, I can just tell," Mom said quietly so Joe couldn't hear.

"He is," I said admiring Joe taking care of Maisie.

"Are you two planning on having any more kids? I love grandchildren, and so far, your other siblings refuse at the moment," Mom laughed lightly.

"I don't know, Joe has always wanted a big family, but I think I'm content, so we'll just play it out and see what happens."

  "That's good, hun."

Joe came and sat down on the sofa again now that Maisie had finished crying. He put her down and she quickly crawled over and resumed playing with the boys. Joe scooted closer to me on the sofa and put his arm around my shoulders.
