Joe's POV

The next morning, I woke up and was still cuddled with Aly. When Aly is pregnant, cuddling works a bit differently, so we're pretty much spooning. Mainly because her baby bump gets in the way.

I'm so excited for Lia to arrive, we have another two weeks, but they'll go by quick enough.

I quietly got up, careful not to disturb Aly, and went and took a shower. I then got dressed, and then Aly woke up.

"How're you feeling?" I asked Aly, a question which I find myself asking her a lot recently, I just don't want her to be uncomfortable.

  "Alright," Aly smiled.

I finished getting dressed and sat on the bed while Aly woke up more.

  "I love you," Aly smiled.

  "I love you too babe."

Aly took a shower and then got dressed. I got the kids up and got them dressed too.

Aly was breathing loudly through her nose and mouth, while holding her stomach.

"Aly? What's wrong!" I asked nervous.

"Braxton Hicks," Aly said leaning against the wall, "False-labor," Aly then clarified after I gave her a puzzled look.

"Okay, let's sit down," I said taking her to our room, the closest room, and sitting on the bed.

"I just need to relax," Aly breathed.

"How do you know it's just Braxton Hicks?" I asked.

"They don't hurt as much," Aly said.

I gave Aly a kiss on the forehead before going to check on the kids. Fletcher was looking at a book and Maisie was trying to take it from him, typical kids.

"No May-e!" Fletcher said moving the book out of her reach.

I picked up Maisie and handed her a smaller book to play with. Maisie quickly started wiggling and squirming implying she wanted me to put her down. I put her down and she mimicked Fletcher by trying to read her book, unfortunately her's was upside down.

"May-e!" Fletcher giggled as he fixed the book for her.

  "Good job Fletch," I smiled.

"She silly!" Fletcher joked shaking his head, making me laugh.

Aly soon joined us in the livingroom and sat on the sofa and watched the kids with me. Fletcher had grown tired of looking at the books and started playing with his trucks and trains. Maisie was sucking on one of Fletcher's trucks while holding the book still.

  "They're so cute," Aly giggled.

"Aren't they? Earlier Fletch fixed Maisie's book because she was looking at it upside-down and then turns to me and says, 'She's silly.'"

  "Oh my," Aly laughed.

We hung out for a while, relaxing and watching the kids play. Aly's back is starting to constantly hurt, which is similar to how it was a week or two before she gave birth to Maisie.

I made us all lunch. I prepared sandwiches for Fletcher and Maisie to share, and some cheese and turkey toasties for Aly and I. Although, we each gave the kids some too. After lunch, Aly insisted on doing the dishes.

"Babe, I never do anything anymore around the house, let me just help by doing the dishes," Aly said.

"Aly, you're making another person inside of you, you need to relax and take it easy," I said.
