A Blooming Relationship (A Joe Sugg FanFiction)

Chapter Sixty-Eight.

Joe's POV

  Aly and I went to go get groceries for her mom. Most of the stuff we bought were just snacks and little fixings to keep the house stocked, I presume.

  "I think we have everything," Aly said reviewing the long list a last time before we got into a check-out line.

  "Your total has come out $104.37," The young cashier said.

  Aly handed her the cash and waited for her change.

  "I'm sorry, but are you Joe Sugg?" The teenage cashier asked.

  "Yes?"

  "Oh, sorry I watch your videos on YouTube! I love them!" She blushed.

  "Oh! Well thank you."

  "Your welcome, here's your change, have a nice day!" She smiled again before we left.

  "Damn, my husband is famous!" Aly laughed.

  "One person," I laughed also as I loaded the groceries into the car.

  "Still!" Aly laughed as she gave me a small kiss before we closed the boot and got in the car and drove back to Lucy and Bryan's house.

  We carried the groceries and I tried my best to help put them away.

  "Thanks babe," Aly smiled as we finished.

  Both Fletcher and Maisie were playing with Caleb in the livingroom with his toys. Aly went upstairs to find her mom while I watched the kids play. Maisie crawled to me and tried to climb onto my lap before I just lifted her up. She stood up on my lap and leaned on me, playing with my hair and giggling.

  Aly came back downstairs and sat next to and moved Maisie's hair out of her face.

  "Who's this?" Aly said joking around pointing to me for Maisie; she's been trying to get her to say her first word for weeks now and we always just get giggles in reply.

  "It's Daddy," Aly smiled, "And I'm Mommy."

  "And your Maisie," I added smiling.

  "And Fletcher," Aly said pointing to Fletcher, who was still playing with Caleb.

  Maisie once again just started giggling and sat down on my lap.

  The rest of the day was pretty easy. We relaxed at their house and I helped Lucy get some things ready for Josh and Jess arriving tomorrow.

  Apparently, Josh moved out and has a small flat with his girlfriend, and Jess just seems to come and go as she pleases. Although Aly might have mentioned that she has a boyfriend. However, Josh and his girlfriend will stay in his old room, which obviously has been recently re-done and looks really nice. And Jess will stay in the guest bedroom, with her boyfriend, if he decides to come too. Aly and I helped make their beds look nice and presentable and then vaccum the already-clean carpets and then just make sure the bathrooms have enough tolietries in them.

  "Damn, it's like a hotel," I smiled to Aly.

  "Yeah, my mom likes to make sure if anyone stays, they're treated like guests."

  Aly and I went back downstairs and fed the kids a snack.

  By the end of the afternoon, Aly and I decided to go back to the hotel and call it an early night, and Aly seemed to have maybe eaten something to upset her stomach, because she kept complaining of a stomache, so we just decided to go back to the hotel for the night.

  The next morning, we got up and Aly still complained of a stomache, but said it wasn't anything to worry over, she just felt uncomfortable and in a bit of pain.

  "Are you excited to see Josh and Jess today?" I asked as we got in the shower.

  "Yes!" Aly squealed.

  After the shower, we got dressed and the dressed the kids, as usual. Then we drove to their house again.

  "I think we're going to take the kids on a walk on the beach for a while," Ally said to her mom after we arrived.

  "Okay honey, don't be too long, Josh and Jess are to be arriving within the next couple of hours hopefully," Lucy said excitedly.

  We slipped on our shoes and I picked up Maisie and both Fletcher and Caleb put on their jackets and we walked into the backyard and then down the stairs to the beach.

  "Look Alyson!" Caleb said excitedly as he found a sand dollar washed up on the shore.

  "That's so cool!" Aly smiled.

  Caleb stuck it in his pocket and continued walking with Fletcher, holding his hand. They're so cute. It's weird to think they're uncle and nephew, yet so close in age.

  After we had a nice walk on the beach, we decided to head back to the house. I made sure to get all the sand off of Fletcher and Caleb before letting them back into the house that Lucy had just cleaned.

  "Josh!" Aly cheered as we went inside and her brother Josh was sitting at the kitchen counter talking to Lucy and his girlfriend next to him.

  "Alyson," Josh said happily as he got up and gave her a hug, "I've missed you!"

  "I've missed you too!" Aly smiled breaking the hug.

  "Hey Joe," Josh said as we shook hands.

  "Hi Josh."

  Aly introduced Fletcher and Maisie and Josh took a liking to Maisie and vis versa. Josh then introduced his girlfriend, Chloe.

  "This is my girlfriend, Chloe," Josh smiled.

  She was probably Aly's age or a year older. She's slim with long brown hair and big blue eyes.

  "Hello," Aly smiled as she shook her hand.

  "Hi," I smiled also.

  Aly and Chloe continued talking and Josh held Maisie and we had a conversation.

  "So when did you two come from England?" Josh asked.

  "About five days ago," I smiled.

  "That's nice, I bet it's alot warmer here."

  "Yeah! And the kids like the beach a lot," I smiled.

  "Yeah, how old are they?" Josh asked bouncing Maisie on his lap and making her giggle.

  "She's about 9 months, and Fletcher's 2 years."

  "Nice," Josh said smiling to Maisie.

  "Josh, honey, do you want me to put your bags in your room?" Lucy asked.

  "No, Mom, I can do it," Josh said as he excused himself and got up.

  I took Maisie from him and carried her and joined in on Chloe's and Aly's conversation. I wrapped my free arm around Aly's waist.

  "This is Maisie," Aly introduced to Chloe.

  "She's so adorable," Chloe smiled.

  "Yeah, and Fletcher is playing with Caleb," Aly said.

  "They're both so cute!" Chloe smiled before she, too, went to go help Josh with their bags.
