Aly's POV

"I'm so sad you're leaving, I mean I have Zoe and Niomi, but you've been my friend forever, it's not the same," I said to Gianna as I helped her pack.

"Hopefully, I can come back!" Gianna smiled.

I finished helping her pack and then Joe and Harry loaded the luggage into both of the small cars and we drove to the airport. Once at the airport, Gianna and Harry checked in and then we had to say our goodbyes before they went through security.

"It was so much fun having you two stay with us!" I grinned.

"Thank you!" Gianna and Harry thanked.

Joe gave Gianna a hug goodbye and Harry gave Fletcher and Maisie a hug and held Lia for a minute.

"Bye Aly! I promise to keep in touch! Thank you so much for everything!" Gianna thanked me as she pulled me in for a hug.

"It was no problem, just have fun travelling and be safe!!" I laughed.

"You really are a mother!" Gianna joked as she gave me a final hug.

"Bye Aly, thanks for letting us stay with you and your family. Hopefully we can maybe stay in touch too," Harry shrugged awkwardly.

  "Yes!" I smiled.

Despite Harry's awkwardness at this moment in time, I decided to give him a hug.

  "Travel safe," I whispered.

I miss being friends with Harry. All because of a stupid relationship in high school, we can't be the same kind of friends anymore. Like, we were really best friends growing up, but times goes on and people change. We said our goodbyes and then left the airport.

  "I'll miss Gi," I said.

"I know baby," Joe said holding my hand.

We got in the car and drove back home. I cleaned up the air mattress in Fletcher's room and the sheets. Picking up the sheets, I noticed a small paper fall out. I picked it up and it was a picture of Harry and I when we were dating. Shit. He still has feelings for me. Gianna and Joe were right. Shit. I quickly decided I would just mail the picture back to his house in Pismo, so it would be there when he returned. However, I don't think I'm going to tell Joe, just because I know it would just anger him, but it's not my place to just rip up the small picture, it's Harry's and belongs to him, not me. I slipped it in my pocket and gave myself a mental reminder to run out to the post office later today, or early tomorrow. I finished cleaning up, and moved Fletcher's clothes back to his room along with his toys and other things we moved out of there for Harry.

"Baby, have a rest, you've been cleaning for almost three hours," Joe says as he wraps his arms around my waist.

  "Okay," I heaved.

Wow. Time flies. I was too distracted thinking about the whole fiasco of finding that picture to realize how long I had been cleaning. I went into our room and slipped off my jeans and slid on a pair of a cotton shorts. I took the picture from my jean pocket and slid it into my purse.

"Baby, you okay? You seem distracted," Joe asked me.

"Yeah, I'm alright," I smiled as I tried to forget about what happened earlier and sat down with Joe and the kids.

  "Okay," Joe smiled.

"Mummy! Look I colored!" Fletcher smiled holding up his scribbled drawing.

  "Wow! That's beautiful," I smiled.

Fletcher continued drawing and I sat next to Joe and cuddled up next to him.

"Should we just get a movie to watch and then get pizza?" Joe asked me.

"Huh?" I asked looking at the clock on my phone, damn, it's already past 6 o'clock, "Oh yeah, sure," I smiled.

"Okay, you can look on the television to see if there's a movie you want to watch, I'll go order the pizza," Joe smiled.

  "Okay babe."

I looked on the television and the movies and then at movies to rent and finally decided between two movies. Joe ended up choosing between the two and we left the television like that as we waited for the pizza and played with the kids. After a while, the pizza was finally delivered and we set it on the coffee table. Before starting the movie, I fed Lia and Joe gave Maisie and Fletcher a piece of pizza that he had cut up so they could easily chew it. Lia soon fell asleep, which I had expected after feeding her. I took her through to her room and layed her in the crib.

"Ready to start the movie?" Joe asked as I came back through.

  "Yeah," I smiled.

I feel exhausted from all the cleaning earlier. At the time I didn't realize how much I did, but now I feel a bit sore from bending over to pick everything up and just standing up for that length of time.

Anyway, Joe started the movie and I cuddled up next to him and we watched the movie. Halfway through, both Maisie and Fletcher fell asleep on Joe and I's lap. We decided to leave them for now and put them in their rooms after the movie had finished.

After the movie did finish, Joe put Maisie in her room and I put Fletcher in his.

"Baby, you look tired," Joe hummed quietly.

  "I am," I said.

"Let's go to bed," Joe said wrapping his arm around my waist and guiding me to our room.

Hopefully a good night's sleep will help me forget about Harry and my sadness to realize a friendship between us would probably never work because of what was between us in high school. I try and remind myself that I have Joe and the kids now, which is true, but I feel as if I've realized I'm almost loosing a friend. I think I'm just really tired and blowing it out of porportion. Maybe he's kept it all this time to just remember our friendship and how we grew up together? Whatever, it's too much for me to think about being this tired.

"Goodnight babe," Joe says giving me a kiss.

"Goodnight," I say returning the kiss, feeling guilty for having so much on my mind and not paying attention to Joe, "I love you."
