Chapter 52: The Hospital.

“M...me.” I stuttered, gesturing to him. “What are you doing here?” I asked turning the question back on him.

“I was here to watch a movie.” His eyebrows rose higher, I folded my arms across my chest as I attempted to look casual.

“As am I, I thought I would just stop by and get some popcorn.” I informed him.

“Really?” he asked, I swallowed loudly “Then why where you doing the running man on stage?”

I scratched my head and laughed “Me, running man…on stage? Seriously, nah it wasn’t me.” I looked away from his stare.

“Gwen, I know it was you, plus you are wearing my lucky socks, why are you wearing my lucky socks?” as his eyes traveled down, and I couldn’t help but follow.

“You can see your lucky socks from that far away? Wait, you have lucky socks?” I asked shocked, my face soon morphed into a grin.

“Yes, I have lucky sucks and there not hard to miss since they are bright pink!” he waved his hand’s in the air and I giggled.

“You have lucky socks,” I pointed to him, “You have lucky socks! Ha, wait I'm wearing them. I'm wearing your lucky socks.” I looked from his face to his socks, a huge ass smile on his face.

Oh boy, was he in for it now, lucky socks, what next lucky pants.

“Shut up, you have lucky duck panties.” He shot back making me gasp.

“I do not!” I shouted.

I totally did.

My face dropped and I looked at him, “Please tell me you’re not wearing them.”

Silence….

“Kyle!”

I watched as he slapped his hand against his thigh, tears streaming down his face, his booming laugh made me jump and I couldn’t help but smile.

“I totally fooled you, you should have seen your face it was like, uhhhh.” He made a face with his eyes wide and his mouth opening like a fish, I did not look like that.

I pouted when the look reminded me of Mr. Fish. Ah, such sad times.

“That’s not funny.” I walked forward, pulling the keys out of my pocket.

Kyle's face turned serious “So why are you dressed as an undercover ninja/spy and searching for Dale?” he questioned making me sigh.

Should I tell him? Should I let him in on my awesome plan? Could I use him? Hell yes, I could!

We stood so close that with every breath I took my chest grazed his, his hands where on my hip and I looked up at him, the wind made it difficult to see as odd strands stuck to my eyelashes and lips. Kyle brushed it back to my ear and he searched my face.

“DoyouthinkI'mputtingyouindanger?” he blurted so fast I had to repeat the sentence 4 times in my head.

Do you think I'm putting you in danger? I frowned and searched his face for what he could mean by that. My face morphed into a smile when I realized what he had meant.

“If you are thinking about doing that crap that happens in movies where they break up to keep each other safe then forget it.” I told him straight out.
