Elevator Mishap

I began to panic as I pressed every button I could touch but none seemed to be working,"No,no,no! Is it really broken?" I questioned.

"Are you kidding me? Stupid elevator" Si banged onto the walls, and yelled out to the camera.

I shook my head grabbing his arms,"Stop Si What if the elevator falls? We'll die!"

"Then what are we suppose to do now?" He asked crossing his arms.

I sighed scared. This was the first time I've ever been stuck in a elevator.

"Do you have your phone?" I asked praying to god that he did.

He pulled it out and it looked dead. I widened my eyes mad,"Whys your phone dead?Who leaves the house with their battery low?!"

"I called you for four hours straight. What do you think?" He retorted.

I rolled my eyes,"Ugh! I could've called one of my butlers to help us out." I paced back and forth stressed knowing the most we could do right now was wait til some worker noticed.

Si began to yell at the camera again with time passing by. I continued to press random buttons hoping that if I continued to do it the elevator would start moving again.

But eventually I gave up stood there in utter silence.  I didn't know what time it was at the moment but I knew it was late that Ms.Choa was most likely sending my body guards out to look for me.

I sighed heavy and looked up to see Si. When I made eye contact with him he walked over to me slamming his hand to the side of my face.

I widened my eyes as he began to lower his face towards me.

No, no, no.

I bent my knees, going down but I froze when Si head fell down to my shoulder, to the ground.

"Hey Si are you okay?!" I immediately went down to my knees shocked. I touched his forehead realizing that the sickness was now hitting him,"You have a fever"

Si eyes remained shut but he moved his head side to side weakly,"Try standing in the rain for four hours" he muttered.

Great now I feel bad..

I looked down at my outfit realizing a way to make him feel better. I took my over sized hoodie off not caring about the black tank top and small shorts I had on,"Here lie down"

Si listened and rested his head on my thighs as I put my over sized hoodie over his body,"You should try to get some rest. Try to stay conscious. Someone will come for us soon" I assured.

When I didn't hear a response from him I knew he was fast asleep. I couldn't help but stare at his features with a smile tugging at my lips. Without that mean, arrogant attitude he actually looked like a baby.

A baby with a pineapple haircut pfft.

Ignoring my silly thoughts I decided to go sleep despite shivers and goosebumps covering my skin.

With time passing more I felt myself awake from my slumber when feeling something or something move my baby hairs to the side.

I fluttered my eyes automatically looking down to Si who was awake,"I'm sorry. This is all my fault. But you insisted on coming here. If you didn't insist on coming here we wouldn't be stuck here" he began.

Suddenly his stomach began to growl. I couldn't help but giggle.

"What's so funny? I'm hungry and tired and I was in the rain for so long. It's normal for my stomach to be growling" he argued.

I sighed nodding,"You know it's my fault too. I should've told you why I couldn't come." I said awkwardly avoiding eye contact,"The truth is it was my moms birthday slash funeral. I went out to her grave early and came back late. I didn't realize how much time had passed by til I got home. But right now I'm taking care of you. So don't worry, when you get home your Mom should be able to do the job"

I looked down to him as Si stared up at the ceiling,"I haven't seen my Mom in two years" he admitted.

I frowned upon hearing this. What happened to his Mom?

"My dad..he died when I was in the middle school. My mom had to work in London. When we called her, we always got her assistant instead so we stopped calling her" he explained.

Damn..despite all that rudeness he carries he too deals with family issues.

"I'm sorry, no one should go through that" I said,"It can be lonely when we live in a big house by ourselves. I don't think people understand that just because we're rich and have this amount of money, doesn't define the amount of happiness we have"

"Don't day that. It's not always lonely you have people around you"

I frowned, he did have a point.

I looked away nodding,"Okay since I feel really bad for making you sick and getting us stuck in a elevator how can I make it up to you?" I wondered.

Si sat up and handed me my over sized sweater back. I put it over my head like how it was originally and fixed my hair.

He held his hand onto the metal handle part of the elevator and leaned down to my face. I widened my eyes suddenly putting my hand on his chest,"
T—That's not that I meant" I stuttered.

Si ignored my words and continued to lean down. I nervously closed my eyes feeling his breath on my cheeks.

Am I really going to be kissed? Was I going to let him this time? I wasn't too sure about this..

When I could feel his lips he instantly pulled away when the doors opened. I squinted my eyes at the brightness shining through the elevator.

Holy mother of pearl, We've been found!

I instantly got up composing my posture.

"Hey where are you going?" Si questioned. I ignored him and bolted out the elevator rushing all the way back home not wanting this day to be ever mentioned.
