"When were you going to tell me?" I laugh, holding onto my files. "Why does he like me?"

"Well, I never wanted to tell you. Promised my future teammate." He smiles his goofy smile and hands me one more piece of paper. I never really liked this guy named Lewis Hamilton, but even less I liked the person we're talking about right now. "But he won't be anymore."

"He's signing for Renault next season!" I exclaim.

"You won't be bothered by Ocon any longer." He takes a pause, thinking deeply about his words. "Unless you are promoted to Renault..."

"Of course I'm not, I'll stay with McLaren until Red Bull gives me a contract." I jokingly say, but still speaking the truth.

"So, no Mercedes? We could use a new engineer you know..."

"Not as long as you're in that team." I joke but turn away. I look at the files while I lay them out in front of me on the glass table. "I always thought Ocon thinks too much of himself like he thinks he's just as good of a racer like you."

"You think I'm good?" with those words I turn around again, facing him.

"I'm impressed by the titles you've won. Not saying I like your style."

"It's the same." Lewis walks to the bar and takes a bottle of liquor and two glasses. "Time to celebrate."

"I don't drink on the job." I protest, crossing my arms in front of my chest but letting them go after a second.

"Your workday ended right after the race. I want to celebrate my race-win with you, but most importantly, I want to celebrate our friendship-win with you."

"Friendship-win?" I laugh in his face.

"Don't act you don't know." He places everything on the table, giving me a playful push on my arm. "I like this, us warming up to each other."

"I like it too, now are you going to open that bottle or not?" He opens the bottle and pours us a drink. I gladly take a sip of mine.

"Ocon really has a thing for me?" I giggle, actually hoping it wasn't true and it was all a joke to get me here.

"Almost every driver here does for you, Y/n..."
