I've always thought about how my life would be if Kimi turned out to be my father... But maybe that's just because I really want to know who my father is, lol.

(His kids are older in this chapter than in real-life though, otherwise, it wouldn't work...)

Happy reading!!

"He broke up with me okay! Happy now, dad?" Rianna stands up from the dining table with fire in her eyes.  She walks to the hallway to go to her room. Kimi tries to stop her.

"Darling, I didn't-" But he's too late. He stands up too, I stop him.

"I'll go, you upset her quite a lot." He nods and sits back down. I walk upstairs but don't burst into her room just yet. I give her a minute to relax before knocking on her door. "Rianna?"

"Go away!"

"I know how you feel, I've had a broken heart before. I get you. Can I please come in?" I don't hear anything anymore and I know she's sitting in her favourite spot. I walk in and see the window open. I feel the cool airflow around the room, I walk towards it and I see her sit on her little place on the roof.

"Sissy..." She says as she turns her head to me. She makes room for me across from her and I step on the roof. "I'm sorry I overreacted..."

"You didn't overreact and you don't have to be sorry."

"I loved him."

"I know. It sucks, doesn't it?"

"Yeah, it sucks." She scoffs and a long silence follows. It's not the awkward kind of silence, but the good type of silence. I rest my head on the little wall, I snuggle underneath her cosy blanket and stay quiet until she speaks up again. "I'm sixteen, why do I have to go through this?"

"Everything feels unfair, none understands or listens. I've been there too. Just know I'm always there for you, you know that right?"

"I do, I love you."

"I love you too little sis." I feel her legs move to touch mine, probably just to feel that I'm really there, to know she's not alone. We've been in the news quite a lot these past years, don't think she's really used to be alone anymore with the press always being around. Tonight is everything quiet, no car on the road, no bird singing their song, just our breathing. Since the day we found out Kimi's actually my father, all our lives haven't been the same. From that day Rianna and I have been the best friends, best sisters, obviously even though the fights we've had.

"I'm happy you stayed."

"Same, I wouldn't have wanted to miss anything."

"I still remember when you scolded at dad because he left you, and how mad I was at you."

"Luckily it didn't last long." Thinking back I might've overreacted with the scolding, but it felt right at that moment. I mean he left me and my mom for Formula 1 and had no choice, and three years later he starts his own little family. I know my mom literally pushed him out of the door when he said he didn't want to stop with F1 for our family, so it's not just his fault.

"You're family."

"I couldn't wish myself a better family."

"Did I do something wrong with him?" She suddenly asks. I shake my head and clear my throat.

"You know he doesn't deserve you right? You were the perfect girlfriend, he was the worst boyfriend." She laughs at my comment. "Broken hearts just suck."

"How many broken hearts have you had?"

"Too many to count. Most of the time by crushes who barely knew I existed."

"Why did you and Alex break up?"

"We just didn't work out." I wish I could tell her that we were tearing each other apart, we were toxic to each other, but man, how did we love each other. I decided to not because I want her to believe that love's still beautiful.

"None of you ever cheated?"

"No, I don't think so. We just both agreed we're better off friends."

"Do you still love him?"

"I think if you stay friends you never really stopped loving the person."

"Yeah."

"But I broke contact with most of my exes though, no matter how 'good' we broke up."

"Why?" She says, looking at me and I turn my head to her too. I laugh a little and smile, sometimes memories are fun.

"They were being little b*tches about it and couldn't handle it."

"Men can't handle a lot can they?"

"No, for sure they can't." I laugh, she laughs. The freezing night wind blows through our hair and we snuggle deeper into the blanket.  I start to softly sing: "Keep your head up, princess, for your crown falls."

"Now these voices in your head will be your downfall." She continues and we smile. The blanket keeps us warm, it feels like the best painful moment a person could have.

"Ready to get back downstairs?"

"Let's just stay for a little while longer?"
