Lando milkman is calling. My phone screen lights up. I answer before stepping into my car, already wanting to go to him to hang out.

"Y/n, I downloaded the app you told me I shouldn't."

"No, Land! You better not be addicted."

"Want to do one of those tiktok challenges with me and Sainz?"

"On my way."

"Why my last name? Am I not good enough?" I hear Carlos jokingly say before I end the call and I smile.

"How can they be so stupid?" I whisper to myself before starting the engine.

"Since I want to know who you guys' crushes are, I want to do the beat drop challenge. Who it lands on has to call their crush." Carlos smiles to me, he knows I've had feelings for Lando since day one.

"Now I hope it'll land on you..." I snarl back to him. Lando just looks at us confused.

"Something I missed?" Lando says, laughing uncertain. "Do you have a crush I don't know about?"

"I don't have crushes." I lie, whatever I do, it shouldn't land on me I have to make sure of it. "Let's start."

Lando starts the recording and we keep pointing to eachother in a circle. I point to Lando just in time, right before the beat drops. I sigh in relief, knowing I don't have to confess my feelings to Lando.

"F*ck!!" Lando exclaims. I see Carlos smile like a little kid, Lando takes his phone out and calls his crush. We all wait for her to pick up, but I feel my phone vibrate and my heart beings to beat faster. I look at Lando.

"No, no way you're calling me." I take out my phone, terrified that I just got my hopes up. I see his name on my phone screen. "Lando! No, you're calling me."

"I know. I've caught feelings for you. Do you feel the same?"

"I, I do, but-" I get cut off by him kissing me.

"Ohhh this is so going viral! I knew it!" Carlos claps in his hands and the recording stops, but Lando doesn't leave my lips. He's not just doing it for views? "You know you can stop right, you guys make me want to have a crush who likes me back."

"Sorry Car." I say when I pull back.

"Just know, I'm going to tell everyone I brought you two together."

"Okay match-maker, relax." Lando laughs, still looking into my eyes. "I really, really love you."

"I always thought you friend-zoned me."

"You know the funny thing is, I knew of both of you liked eachother. I just waited for the perfect moment."

"Car, we get it." I wave him away, he gets the hint and walks out of the room.

"Wanted to tell you so bad, but I thought you only put up with me because of my job. Thought you'd try to hit up with Charles or Alex through me."

"Don't be like that. I've been in love with you since I saw your smile."
