I might be doing some re-writing and re-editing these coming days. So if you get a notification of a publishment of an older chapter you'll know why.

Much love from me and;

Happy reading!

I'm standing in my changing room in my wedding dress. Everything is perfect, so far it's like a fairytale wedding. Just the thought of saying 'I do' to my husband to be, Charles, makes my heart beat faster. I hear my door open and hear my father's gasp, but I also hear my mum's heels walk in.

"You look beautiful, my princess. After tonight you won't be my princess anymore." My father takes me in his embrace. I look at my mom, I smile to her and she smiles back, but I can see there's something wrong. It isn't until I go to hug her, something she refuses when I know what it is.

"I'm not behind this." She blurs out, I look at my father, he shrugs his shoulder. "I'm not behind the marriage. This is wrong, it's not love-" she takes a second to look at my father, "-and trust me I know it. I don't want you to marry this man, you think it's love, but love isn't real. Love is just a chemical at first, you don't even know if he can keep up with your weird sides."

"My weird sides? Look, I know you and dad divorced but like you and your new husband's real love. You have no idea what's between me and Charles. It's my life, you can't control it anymore. I'm 25." I keep my calm, trying to make everything I say sound like facts.

"I'm warning you; if you won't say 'I don't' at the altar, you're cut off from this family."

"Correction, your side of the family. I'll always support you, whatever road-"

"It isn't about you Dan! You lived with me most of your life, I know you best."

"I moved out when I was 18."

"Think about it thoroughly, one wrong move young lady and you're cut off." She points her finger at me and I snap.

"We'll see. You know, I changed my walk to the altar, I wanted to walk the first half myself, like the last royal wedding, then be met by my two parents and they bring me further. Now, we'll see. You can stand up if you want, I'd love it if you do, both of you. I'd never hold it against you if you don't. Now please go, I need alone time." My mom storms out but my dad stays behind for a bit more. "I don't want to know what you're going to do, let it be a surprise."

"Deep in your heart, you know what's going to happen. But, princess, for once, let your heart decide, not your mind." He cups my face with tears in his eyes. "Your mind's like mine, it ruins the good by listening to others and thinking it's your decision."

"How do I listen to my heart dad?"

"You'll have to learn it." He kisses my forehead and leaves, he knows I need my time. I've never been so stressed and excited about anything else. This day should've been my day, without worries and bonding to the most perfect boy to exist. I walk out and to the hall-door to my wedding room. A sweet girl greets me, waiting to open my door.

"Your fiance is giving a speech to them in there about how much he loves you."

"Sounds like something he'd do."

"You sound hesitant?"

"I just don't know what to do."

"I think you do."

"I do. Do you have pen and paper?" She nods and takes the notepad out her back pocket, making me guess she'll also be our waiter later. If I say yes. I write down three small words. I hid it in my left hand, I get myself up and ready to get in there to make my final decision. She opens the door and I walk in. I see Charles, is he crying? Oh, yes he is. I can't cry, not because he is. Half on the way my father stands up, meeting me there. I swiftly lock eyes with my mom and look right back at Charles.
