"Can I have another?"

"The same drink?"

"Yeah." The bartender puts my favourite drink down in front of me. I can feel someone staring, his or her eyes are burning on the back of my head.

"Excuse me." A male voice says to me after a while. I turn around and smile at him. He's pretty built like he's going to the gym a lot, not too tall and messy brown hair on the top of his head. "Wow, you're so beautiful that you made me forget my pick-up line."

"What? What did you-" I say, totally flustered by his move. "That was smooth. It almost worked."

"Almost? I have to up my game. Let me reboost." He takes a step back and makes a twirl before smiling to me again and saying: "Hello, I'm a thief and here to steal your heart."

"Oh my god, you're too cheesy." I laugh a playfully slap his chest. I can't help but feel strongly attracted to this man.

"No, I'm Norris, Lando Norris." He says with the best British accent possible. His deep green eyes shine in the dimmed bar lights.

"Nice to meet you Norris."

"Nice to meet you too, and you're..." He looks me up and down and locks our eyes again. He breathes out: "gorgeous."

"Quit it with the pickup lines. My name is Y/n."

"I don't think I can, you're too beautiful.." He takes place on the bar stool next to me.

"I don't know what to say." I look away, blushing like crazy.

"But do you know what you'd look really beautiful in? My arms."

"You're the worst and I like it." I take the last sip of my drink. I look back at him, trying to look annoyed. "But shut it and tell me more about you after you bought me a new drink."

"Bartender, new round please." He already heard us because he pulls our drinks out of nowhere and places them in front of us. "So why are you here alone?"

"Because I can. Why are you here?"

"I'm trying to get you home with me."

"Don't you have a girlfriend?" I laugh out, almost choking on my drink.

"No."

"Why?"

"Because you've been my stranger crush for years." He twirls with his glass, smiling a little at his own thoughts.

"Seriously?"

"Yeah, I've had my eyes on you the day I moved here."

"How that so?"

"Ever looked at yourself? Like, I meet so many women, but none of them even come close to you. Since, 28 April 2017, the day I bumped into you, you smiled and said 'I'm so stupid, I'm sorry.' I knew, you were the love of my life."

"That's long ago. You know the exact date? No one ever, no one ever felt about me like- How?" I'm not able to talk normal, too flustered by all of his soft compliments.

"Even if there wasn't gravity on earth I'd still fall for you." He grins to me. "No but for real, I just never dared to walk up to you and talk to you. Socially awkward person here..."

"Same thought. Should we go to some place quiet? We can drink some more at my place."

"Sounds like a good plan."

"I can't believe it's been two weeks now." I let myself fall back on my bed after the long, fun day at the beach. "Since we met."

"I really like you, I should've talked to you sooner."

"Actually, you came on the right time. That night I was thinking about getting back with my ex..."

"Are you serious? The jackass?" I nod laughingly to him. I can't believe I ever fell for him, Lando proved me there are still good men out there.

"I'm happy I didn't thought." Lando moves over to me and takes my hand, I look into his eyes.

"When a penguin finds a mate they stay with them for the rest of their life. Will you be my penguin?"

I'm sorry I didn't post anything this week, my aunt in Canada passed away and I haven't been able to do anything... I'll try to be more active now.♥️
