This was a wonderful request, I hope you like it. :)

Happy reading!

I step into the elevator in my apartment building. I wonder if I'll see him again on the seventh floor. I go one floor down and it stops, the seventh floor. My heart rate rises. Please, let the doors open, please. They open and I see him again. I give him this awkward smile greeting, he smiles and nods back. Should I say something? Is he going to speak to me? I can feel this burning tension between us, I can sense I'm not the only one attracted. It's been weeks, every day we get on the elevator at the same time to go to work. I just want to know his name. He isn't dressed like someone who works in business, he's just casual clothed. I wonder what his work is. I should say something. Okay first get some confidence, deep breath in and out. I-

"How late do you usually get back?" He asks, I'm totally shocked. He just spoke to me. I turn around and see his hopeful eyes stare back at me.

"A- Around 6 pm. What, what about you?" I manage to stutter out.

"Mostly later, like 8 pm. We have dinner there together sometimes."

"What's your work?" I say, holding my hands together in front of me. Somehow he begins te become really unsure but excited to tell me.

"I'm a car racer, but I need to go to the office often for the team."

"Nice, I really like races. What kind do you do?"

"Formula 1..." He says, looking at his feet. And I know why he was so unsure.

"Really? Damn, you've made it." I jokily laugh, totally not slightly fangirling.

"Not yet, baby. Have to win a championship first." He laughs. "Oh, we're here."

"Right, I'll probably see you later?"

"Yes, for sure." He says like a little kid and walks out of the elevator. I watch him leave before getting on my way.

---------------------

After my long and tiring day, I wait for the elevator in my building. I hear footsteps behind me but I believe it's just of the sweet cleaning lady.

"How about I'll make you dinner tonight?" I hear someone say behind me and I turn around ready to fight this person. But I relax once I see it's elevator boy and smile to him. "Sorry, didn't mean to startle you."

"Don't worry. Dinner sounds good, but I want to know your name first."

"Max, then it's a date,..." He sort of gestures for me to say my name, not wiping his grin off his face.

"Y/n," I say and he looks surprised. I hear the ring of the elevator that he's here and we step in.

"Beautiful name for a beautiful lady."
