A/N-  This imagine is based on the song Grigio Girls by Lady Gaga. It's pretty short, but I hope you all enjoy it.

Your dingy motel room was starting to get the better of you. The damp smell, and the mould in the top corners of the walls, and the itchy blankets. It was all beginning to become a little too much for you. God, you knew you weren't the only one struggling. From the moment you had all gone on the run, there had been more than enough for each of you to complain about, and now it was your turn. Sure, all of the rooms were gross, it was a cheap motel, but yours seemed to be that little bit worse than the others.

You were settled on your bed, staring at a spot on the wall where the paint had begun to chip away, revealing the shitty plaster underneath, when the secret knock sounded on your door. You managed to cross the room almost silently, craning your neck to look through the peephole.

On the other side was Nat, brandishing two bottles of wine, and Wanda, holding up a bag of what you assumed were snacks. You hurried to unlock the door, laughing when the girls pushed past you into your room and slumped themselves down on the bed.

"Took you long enough," Nat started, holding one of the bottles out to you. "Is white okay?"

"White's fine," you answered softly, shaking your head. "What is all of this?"

Wanda shrugged slightly, pulling open a bag of popcorn and throwing a kernel into her mouth. "You seemed down," she told you, smiling, "wine and snacks was always our go to at the facility."

You smiled softly over at your friends, moving to sit between them on the bed. "You guys are great."

"You don't know the half of it," Nat started, handing you a plastic cup of wine. "My hair needs to be dyed and you're the only one with a mould-free shower."

The chuckle the escaped you was so normal that it felt like you had all been transported back to New York. The three of you huddled together and chatting shit in one of your bedrooms, like you would have done at home.

"So, what's up?" Wanda was watching you with focused eyes. She knew what was wrong already, could read your mind without even trying, but you had come to the conclusion, long ago, that it would always be better for you to voice your problems.

"I miss being at home." You shrugged slightly, shaking your head as you thought. "I miss my bed, and good coffee, and being able to walk down the street without worrying about being arrested. God, I've even started missing Tony."

Nat let out a bark of laughter, lifting her hand to cover her mouth in surprise. "Sorry," she paused for a moment, "I just never thought I'd hear you say that."

"If it weren't for you guys I would have gone insane already."

Wanda leant towards you, her head coming to rest against your shoulder. "I get it," she told you softly, "It was the first place that ever felt like home, and now we can't go back."

You nodded, shifting to pull her into a tight hug. "Yeah." You lifted your cup to your lips, taking a deep gulp and wrinkling your nose. "God, this is gross."

"We were working on a budget," Nat laughed, her hand reaching to pat your knee for a moment. "Now come on, lets sort out my roots before you guys get too drunk and make a mess of it."
