A/N - This chapter was requested by user: CatCatCat4. I ended up listening to '(You're The) Devil In Disguise' by Elvis Presley on repeat whilst I wrote this chapter, so it may have had a little bit of an influence on the imagine. I hope you all enjoy it.

It was silly of you to have ever thought that Nat would be a well behaved woman. Hell, she was one of the most devious individuals you had ever met, and yet, you couldn't help but be lulled into a false sense of security by her.

You had wondered, on multiple occasions, what it was that had you so convinced that she was good. Perhaps, it was her smile, the one that spread all the way up into her eyes when she looked at you. Or maybe it was the sweet things she would say to you. The golden little moments when she was telling you how much she loved you.

Whatever it was, it had worked. You had stopped being cautious, and that was when she had happened launched her first attack.

You'd spent most of the day flitting in and out of meetings, wearing yourself down until you were so completely knackered that you'd decided to cut your work day a little short. You slunk back from your office to your room, moving through the halls like a zombie. God, you could do with a hot bath and a week long nap.

But as you reached your room, you could tell that something was a little off. You reached out, rattling the handle on the door, only to find it unlocked. You were certain that you'd locked it when you'd left for work that morning, ushering Nat out into the hall as she grumbled about how early you always started your day.

Taking a deep breath, you prepared yourself for the worst. There was a chance that your room could have been ransacked, all of your prized possessions stolen. Or maybe, someone would be waiting inside to attack you.

With as much confidence as you could muster, you forced the door open, your eyes finding the figure of your girlfriend standing by the bed before you were hit with a wave of freezing cold water from above. Suddenly, the breath was knocked out of your lungs, a shaking squeal escaping your lips as you stared around the room in disbelief as Nat's laughter echoed off of the walls. And then the tears had started.

In all honesty, it was rare for you to cry so openly. You had always been pretty good at concealing your emotions. But you were just so tired, and now you were cold, and wet, and it was all just a little bit too much for you to handle.

"Y/N?" Nat's laughter faded as she watched you throw your bag down on the floor, wiping harshly at your eyes. She was in front of you a second later, her hands cupping your cheeks and drawing your gaze up to hers. "I-"

"I'm fine," you interrupted before she could even begin to apologise. "It was just a prank. I'm fine," you repeated, sniffling as she pushed your damp hair out of your face.

"I thought you would find it funny," she started, her brow furrowing as she continued to watch you.

"I would," you started, swallowing around the lump in your throat. "I did," you corrected. You shifted forward, leaning your damp forehead against her chest and closing your eyes. "Long day at work," you explained.

"Go take a hot shower," she murmured, pressing a kiss to the top of your head. "Warm yourself up and I'll get you something to eat." You nodded, pulling away from her and moving towards the bathroom. "I'm really sorry," she added, her face contorted with worry as you glanced back at her.

"Don't be. I'm going to get you back ten times worse," you told her, a smile pulling at your lips as you stepped into the bathroom.
