We pulled up outside an unnecessarily large house, mansion, that had a big driveway with quite a few cars. About seven or something like that. I wasn't counting, just angry that I was going to this house in the first place. Jade's face was beginning to look worried too. My tattoo felt as if someone had put the most irritant chemical on it ever. Like there were thousands of vampires biting it at the same time. Even in my weak human form, I've never shown off when I'm in pain. Jade grabbed her phone and keys then got out of the car casually. We're not going to a fucking theme park, Jade! What the hell? I decided, after a moment's pause, to follow her lead for once. Switch our roles. She went over to Mike's car, which had just pulled up next to hers. "Trust me, you'll like these guys." Cathy told me as she took Mike's hand and they began walking towards the door. I gave Jade a look and started walking. I could hear music playing from inside before we even made it through the front doors, huge brown wooden front doors.
"No way!" Someone yelled whilst laughing and giggling to someone. It sounded like an over-enthusiastic girl. The house was empty though, at least it looked it. Mike motioned his head to the kitchen, which was also empty, before going through a door. It ended up leading to the garage. Inside were seven vampires and three human girls.
"Someone brought dinner." One of them growled at us. He had a beard and strangely coloured hair. He wasn't that tall but clearly had some meat on him when he was human so he had some good muscle and strength.
"Oh no! It's a scary vampire!" I acted and rolled my eyes. "Bite me, leech." I narrowed my eyes at him, only taking in his reaction for a moment. He was shocked as he leaned back in his seat uncomfortably. Mike laughed behind me as well as Cathy as they slipped past Jade and I to sit on the couch together next to another one of the guys and girls.
"You got a feisty one." A blonde boy laughed, flicking his gaze between us. Even without the light blue ring, he had bright blue eyes that complimented his hair perfectly. His face was well structured though he looked childish at the same time. I casually rolled my sleeve up to reveal my tattoo. Another one of them hissed and sped to the opposite side of the room. He was very tall with dirty blonde hair and a bit more chub than the others, though I had to admit that they were all attractive.
"A hunter?!" He yelled at Mike. I rolled my eyes, leaning against the wall behind me whilst Jade did the same.
"It's okay, they're cool. Well, at least they are with me. Cathy's one too." Every one of their heads turned to my best friend and I was ready to kill them all rather than let them look at her like that. She looked uncomfortable and there was a hint of fright from so much attention.
"Don't give us a reason to kill you and we won't." Jade said confidently, stepping forward. Cathy looked at her like she was a leader and honestly I was doing the same thing.
"Anyways." Mike laughed. "This is Vanessa, Jade, and you already know Cathy." He introduced. "This is..."
