~ Part 92 ~

"You need a vampire target." Edward said to me as he scanned his eyes over the vampires still fighting. Then a wide smile spread over his face. "I would say Colby since he's stronger than the others, a closer match to the old ones... but you have feelings for one another so you'll both hold back." I frowned at my 'coach' then raised my eyebrows.

"I don't know. There's plenty of times I want to slap him." I replied as I looked at my boyfriend. He threw Sam onto the ground and looked over at me, a small smirk playing on his lips. He soon got back into fighting Sam when he got up.

"How about..." Edward tilted his head to the side staring at one specific vampire I didn't like all that much. It was Elton. "Him. You two are clearly not the best of friends and he's pretty strong too." I rolled my eyes, looking at the girls. They all smiled at me, Katrina giving me a thumbs up. "Elton!" Edward yelled. He immediately turned to us. "You're going to spar with Vanessa."

"I don't see why I can't just spar with Colby." I said in an annoyed tone as I stepped away from Edward, removing the dummies from the field to give us more space. Edward gave me a glare and shook his head.

"I don't see why either." Elton appeared next to Edward, who continued to shake his head and push Elton forwards to me. I sighed and took up more of a defensive stance.

"Now, using what you practiced with Aaron earlier, attack her." I only got to see Colby's eyes looking at me when Elton lunged towards me. I skidded through his legs and made a stake appear in my hand, putting it dangerously close to his back. "That's one to Vanessa. You both need to work on strategies. Elton move faster." Elton spun around at vampire speed and sped around me. I spun to face him and saw his hand coming towards me in a claw like manner. I knocked it out of the way, lifting my leg to kick him in the gut. He went flying backwards a little then jumped up, agitated. He came back towards me so I whipped out my tail, tripping him up and pulling a stake again. "Very well done, Vanessa." Edward smiles at me. "Especially the tail, creative."

"Thank you very much." I helped Elton back up giving him an apologetic smile. He just waved his hand smiling back.

"I'm thinking that you're all good for today. No need to drag out the training for too long or you'll start getting sloppy and tired." Within a second, Colby was by my side, his hand on my waist. I didn't even look up at him as I went completely human. I opened my mouth to speak when something pierced my shoulder. I let out a loud roar in pain...
