Vanessa decided that the best place to sit was back on my lap and I completely agreed with her. Her weight on top of me was just what I needed to keep me calm and keep that tight feeling I loved so much in my chest. Her head resting just near my neck didn't help the whole pants situation, though. It was giving me very very dirty thoughts. Since Edward has been out cold for a while, I figured that we could spend some time alone together... just then, Jake ruined my thoughts as he sped to the back of the room. My eyes landed on the vampire's arm lifting. He looked like he was waking up. When his nostrils flared, I got a better grip of Ness. Just in case. He finally sat up after hours upon hours and he looked at Vanessa. "Remove. The. Human. Or I swear I'll drain her right in front of all of you." I'd already sped out of the room with Vanessa, holding her tight in my arms as I went. I placed her down in my room.

"No way am I sitting this out!" She exclaimed at me, stepping away which hurt a little.

"I see she's still feisty." Edward teased from downstairs. Her anger had made her blood more potent, sending me slowly crazy.

"It's not your choice." I managed out before I sped away to avoid biting her myself. The growl, or rather roar, that Ness sent after me made me smile until I got to the garage again and I controlled myself.

"Thank you. I am not very well in control at this moment." I could tell he was talking louder than usual. And I knew exactly why. He wanted Vanessa to hear everything.

"Well you won't be alive if you touch her." And there's Sam's protectiveness shining through.

"I understand what you'd all do for her." Edward smiled genuinely as he got up and walked to the side, not in the centre of the room anymore. Ness's footsteps got dangerously close to her door upstairs. Edward glanced up at the ceiling and almost sighed. "Do not come down here, child." Edward sounded gentle with her. Like he was her father. "I know you can hear me."

"No one tells me what to do." Jake and Mike smirked at me as I stood up while Edward was sending me a knowing smile. I sped away up the stairs to find her already at the top of them. I knew I couldn't get her to go away so I reached out to her, pulling her close.

"Be a hunter, Ness. At least make it easier for him if you're going to be stubborn." She raised her eyebrow at me trying to make me smile. And I almost did. So did she. Her blood scent got drastically weak and faint so I nodded. I wrapped my arms around her waist, speeding back to the garage.
