It hadn't even been a day yet I found myself kind of missing them, I guess? I liked challenging them. Especially Elton since he thought he was all that. Maybe to them, but not to me. Jade and I hadn't spoken a word on the way back, either. Not even in the elevator to our floor. And we didn't text. All day. It felt weird. Although, I did wake up to a text from her. She was just saying good morning and asking me not to be mad at her. I felt inclined to blank her altogether. She's taking their side... but so am I... I got out of bed, feeling like someone was watching me. My arm felt strange, particularly the spot with my tattoo. It wasn't burning or even tingling, it was like butterflies truthfully. Like the ones you get in your stomach. I traced my fingers carefully over it. What the heck? That's never happened before. I shivered and got out of bed quickly, dismissing the feeling that was still there. I pulled some clothes out of my closet, a pair of black ripped jeans and another black crop top, this one tighter and a little bit more revealing. The feeling disappeared so I continued to pretend like I'd never felt it. I showered and changed while waiting for my hair to dry. That butterfly feeling came back with a force, stronger than before and making me go crazy over figuring out why it was there. Nothing was coming to mind though. Maybe I should ask my parents... a quiet noise on my balcony alerted me of someone's presence I narrowed my eyes, staring out the glass doors. Us hunters slept like vampires so it was dark outside, nearly midnight already so I woke up later than usual. The dark shadow in the corner made a fire rage inside of me. I changed into my hunter form and stormed out there but, of course, what was likely to be a vampire had disappeared. I held my stake in my hand, squeezing it. Why hadn't my tattoo warmed me? I still only felt the butterflies but that was fading. My eyes searched the dark above, below, and surrounding me for the vile creature that'd decided to spy on me. I couldn't see anything. It had to be around still. Finally, I saw two glowing blue dots staring up at me from the ground. They almost felt familiar. I stared at them for way longer than I should have. "Get out
of here!" I yelled angrily, my blood boiling, which it could probably smell. The eyes disappeared so I turned to go back inside. To my surprise, a figure stood right there in front of my glass doors. It was tall, emo-like clothing and... brown to blue hair. My eyes met a pair of bright blue eyes, the blue ring around them no longer two small dots, and a normal amount of white in his eyes. Colby. "What the fuck are you doing here?" My voice was full of rage, the rage I felt inside myself only building at the sight of him. "Did you seriously follow me?" He just stared at me with a strange expression on his face. What was he thinking about?
