My head was cloudy when Colby's teeth released me. I now felt tired and all I wanted to do was close my eyes, to sleep for years and maybe even never wake up. Colby's strong hands gripped me tighter as he spoke but his words wouldn't come to my ears. I just barely groaned then felt my spirit leaving my body as I passed out. It felt like it'd been forever when my eyes wanted to open. I felt comfortable and warm wherever I was. I didn't even want to wake up. I was happy dreaming of Colby. Colby! My eyes shot open and I sat upright, looking around. I was in my bedroom and... "Lie down." Colby's voice came from behind me making me jump. I turned to see him lying in my bed. He was shirtless revealing a few tattoos I'd never seen such as the lock-heart on his chest and the flower looking thing on his forearm. I tried not to blush as my body automatically listened to him, falling back on the bed. "You lost... well I'm not gonna lie, quite a lot of blood. I almost didn't stop." He bit his lip nervously waiting for my reaction. I knew that he expected me to flip out and try to kill him but I didn't want to. I leaned over and kissed his lips, slowly at first but it got more and more intense as I shuffled myself closer to him.
"You still stopped." I whispered against his lips tiredly. He suddenly disappeared from beneath me only to return before I'd even fell from his absence.
"You need food." He said casually, handing me a plate that had something on it that smelled amazing. I hummed and tried to sit up, only doing it thanks to his help. "Here." I took the plate from him and went straight for eating the food on it. I could feel his eyes watching me and it was making me blush.
"How long have I been asleep?" I asked him as I regained my thoughts, my mind coming down from the high of both being bitten and waking up. I was starting to feel my strength coming back in my arms and legs. That's when I realised Colby hadn't answered. I gave him a look. "Colby, how long?"
"A day..." my jaw dropped as I stared at his cringing face. My head became clear and my body had all of its strength back from my anger shooting through my veins.
"You tell me that before you act nice, Colby." I snapped, reaching for my phone to see that there were texts and calls alike. Some from my parents and some from Jade and Cathy. They were all really worried. To add to that, Colby had silenced the phone. "Colby!" I groaned, putting my head in my hands. I sighed deeply and worriedly, wondering how exactly I'd explain my disappearance.
"It's okay." Colby whispered in my ear. His hand moved my hair back and his fingers caressed the spot he'd bitten. It made tingles shoot through my entire body, not to mention my tattoo. "Jade and Cathy have told your parents that you've broken your phone and gone on a few day's vacation somewhere in LA, that you needed a little break." He told me. Well, if he'd told me that too. "And they think that where just having some time to ourselves." He kissed over the bite mark. "Which we kinda are."
"Still, my parents might be suspicious now." I turned my head to him worriedly.
