Vampire Hunter // Colby Brock

~ Part 76 ~

Little giggles were coming from somewhere in the room. My sleep state wasn't letting me pinpoint where or who but I was pissed. Whoever the fuck is watching Colby and I sleep is about to get a slap. I knew Colby was still with me because his arms were wrapped around my waist and his head was resting just above mine on the pillow. He didn't seem to move. Is it possible he's still asleep? Just then, I heard one of the girls, who was giggling, let out a louder laugh. "Get out before I kill you." Colby said tiredly, sighing. That only caused another laugh.

"I didn't know you had such a soft spot for cuddling, Colby." Kat teased, out of character for her as she was being loud and cocky.

"I've never seen you look so innocent." Sam added, his voice amused. Even with my eyelids closed, I was able to roll my eyes.

"If you wake Ness up, I'll kill you for the second time." Colby continued to threaten his friends as if he hadn't known them for years. I kicked him under the covers and finally opened my eyes.

"Leave us alone." I said as I sat up, fixing my hair back away from my face. Katrina gave me a smile then walked out the door quickly. She was clearly happy with herself though. I looked at Sam.

"I don't see why I should leave." This was another side to Sam that I'd never seen before and I didn't like it all that much. He was cocky and annoying. Maybe that's how he really is and he just has a front when he's around me. A breeze went past me as Colby sped out of the bed. Next thing I knew, Sam was against the wall with both of his arms twisted around to his back.

"That's probably a good reason." I smiled at my boyfriend and laid back down, pulling the covers over myself to go back to sleep. It was clearly early in the evening as there was still a tiny bit of light coming through the curtains.

"Well, I was coming up here to tell you both something important but if you insist I leave..." a moment later, the door slammed and Colby was back in bed with me. His arms were around me and his face was near mine. There was both annoyance and amusement coming from him.

"That's what you get." Colby said to the air. Before I could question it, my mind flicked back to the fact that he and Sam were vampires and were talking to each other. "Dickhead."

"Hey!" Sam yelled. He must have been at the stairs by now due to how far away his voice sounded. I let out a little giggle and shuffled to be comfortable.
