I watched, useless and motionless, as my girlfriend walked past everyone. She's just made a fucking deal with them. A deal that meant she dies and I can't do anything to save her. I'd never fought so hard to move in my entire life. I couldn't even speak. The only thing I could do was move my eyes. There's no way I'm letting her do this. If only I could move...

"You're brave. And you're very dumb." Evelyn threw Vanessa at one of the other vampires. He caught her by her throat and pulled her against him. My rage was flaming inside me, my muscles refusing to move to let me release it. "That's the one that loves you, yes?" The bitch kicked Ness. "Is he the one who loves you?" Finally, some of my muscles were fighting against the spell. I managed to growl at Evelyn. The smirk that covered her face sickened me. "Have fun, Darren." the vampire holding Ness started touching her body, his hands trailing up and down her sides and to inappropriate places. I've never wanted to rip someone's throat out more. And the worst part, I couldn't help her. She was crying of fear.

"You're scared. I wonder what of." The old vampire leader was smiling at the sight of Ness getting violated. I still couldn't fight against the damn spell. If I wasn't so close to Ness, it wouldn't be so strong on me. Darren made direct eye contact with me as he let out a little growl and bit down into Ness' neck. She gasped in pain and started to fight against him. She threw her legs around and pushed against his hands to let her go. I could see her getting weak. And I still couldn't do anything to help her. I can't even save my own girlfriend from dying. Finally, Darren threw her onto the floor. She was alive and had enough blood. I just have to move...

"You killed my brother." Evelyn said as she kicked Vanessa hard in the ribs making her groan out in pain. She tried to crawl onto her hands and knees but she got kicked again. I felt so helpless. "You're going to regret that." Evelyn grabbed Ness' arm aggressively and bit her. She screamed out in pain, spurring me on even more to escape the hold on me. Just then, I noticed Cathy running across the clearing. The other vampires only noticed her when it was too late. She booted Evelyn in the face. If only I could escape like she had.

"Get off my friend you bi-" the sound of a neck cracking echoed throughout the clearing. I watched in horror as Cathy fell limp onto the floor. Mike's rage was practically coming out of his ears as steam...
