Edward had left shortly afterwards and we invited all of the girls to tell them a little bit of what was going on. Of course, we told Cathy and Jade to get here first so that they could get special treatment in knowing everything. It seemed like forever since everyone had hung out. And it was just like normal when the music kicked in. We all needed a break. I was sat on Colby's lap as usual, his arms around me and my head resting somewhere around his collarbone. The other girls were sat quite similarly with their boyfriends, Jade sitting on her chair and talking with Aaron since he was closest. I made the mistake of looking up at Colby, my tattoo getting that fluttering feeling as I took in his facial features for the millionth time. He was talking about something or other with Sam and Kat, seemingly also smiling every now and then. After a little while, his eyes flicked to me and he gave me a gentle smile. I sent one straight back. "You okay?" He whispered into my ear. I nodded and looked away, feeling his eyes still on me. "Ness." I refused to look back so he grabbed my jaw, turning my head to face him. His eyes burned into my soul.
"I'll talk to you another time." I said shyly. God, this is so different to normal. I don't like the way I'm changing but I wouldn't give up any of these people for anything. I snapped out of my thoughts when Colby brought me closer, our noses almost touching.
"As long as you're sure." I nodded with a little smile, going to sit further back but he didn't let me, the arm around my waist keeping me exactly where I was. I didn't want to move anyways. I was quite happy right there so close to him. He closed the gap between us, only making my point of not wanting to move stronger. I was feeling so many things inside, all of them joyful or a certain type of way I wasn't willing to discuss with anyone. Even Cathy and Jade. Colby's hands were getting tighter, stronger, as he slipped out of control for just a moment. He got himself back as his body seemed to relax a little beneath me. That didn't help my situation at all.
"Pretty sure you have a room for that, Colby." Tara teased from across the room. I was about to flip her off when I felt a breeze. I naturally squealed out of pure shock, ending up in Colby's room.
"Dick, I told you not to do that without giving me warning." I said as I punched his arm. He smiled at me, his hands still on my body. The tension between us should have driven me crazy. I leaned back into the kiss, my arms wrapping around his neck and his around my waist. A second later, we were on his bed, me on top of him. I pulled away and let out a little growl, my body naturally changing into Lupa. Colby's face changed into his vampire form and he growled back. I giggled at him as he leaned back in, smiling widely as well.
"That sounded cute." Kevin said to the rest of the group downstairs. I completely ignored him, turning to human and letting Colby flip us over...
