Vampire Hunter // Colby Brock

~ Part 61 ~

"You have something to show us?" Kevin asked slowly, looking me up and down for a moment. Colby growled at him, deep in his throat and quite intimidatingly. I rolled my eyes, placing a hand on Colby's chest and gently pushing him so that he'd sit on the beanbag chair.

"Yes and you guys may be freaked out at first." I warned them, more looking at Kat, Devyn and Tara. They looked willing but nervous to see my new form, not that they knew that's what I was going to show them.

"Go for it." Sam tightened his grip on Katrina's waist. I sent Colby a little wink as I took a deep breath.

"Lupa." I whispered to myself. My body forced my head to lean back. I could feel my ears growing as well as my nails. My tail slipped out and my teeth sharpened, almost cutting my mouth.

"Woah!" Aaron, Elton, Mike, Corey, and Jake sped to the back of the room, pushing against the back wall. The human girls seemed mesmerised by me, staring me up and down. None of their heart rates were very fast telling me they were just curious.

"What the fuck?!" Mike slowly crept forward, staring at my tail and ears the whole time. I laughed and playfully growled at him to back up. Colby sucked in a breath that some of them definitely heard but hey didn't say anything.

"Can I?" Without me knowing, Devyn had stood up and walked to me. I nodded so she reached up to my head, touching my ears. They flinched at first but I soon let out somewhat of a low pur. She giggled out of pure joy and sat back down.

"Sorry, I don't have control over that yet." I let myself laugh with her and looked back to the scaredy-cats at the back of the room. They had slowly walked back to their seats.

"How come?" Katrina asked me curiously. They all had questioning in their eyes, each confused about one thing or another.

"I'm not entirely sure." I lied, listening to the sound of the car pulling up outside. I could hear the quite voices of Jade and Cathy. My ears perked and I smiled.

"You can hear them?" Elton asked, motioning to the front yard where the two girls were now walking away from, towards the front doors of the mansion. I practically ran through the garage door and waited beside the big brown ones. I listened to their footsteps getting closer. Finally, they opened the doors and walked inside, not noticing me. I growled as I pounced on them, pushing them to the ground. Jade screamed while Cathy started breathing fast. I laughed, rolling off of them.

"You absolute bitch!" Cathy exclaimed. I was just getting up when Mike appeared. He helped up his girlfriend and pulled her closer to him.

"Was that necessary?" He asked me seriously, a slight glare in his eyes.

"One hundred percent." I grinned back, taking Jade's hand to pull her back into the garage. Of course, the breeze that brushed past us beat us there. Cathy now sat on Mike's lap on the couch. I sat down on Colby's lap, snuggling close to him. His arms wrapped around my waist as I slowly changed back to being human. My back hurt the most from where my tail had grown and retracted.
